I received such a fantastic package from Mandykaye. I never expected such wonderful goodies. She is a VERY talented lady indeed! She sent a letter and a Midsummer Fiery Incense recipe all written on a lovely handmade card. She sent some artwork that I love so much I am going to Frame and put up somewhere in the dining room, I think. There was also a cute necklace that she put together for me. Thank you so much Mandykaye! I can't explain how much I love everything Smiley

33  Re: Read to Me, Mommy Round 3 GALLERY in The Swap Gallery by Momof2! on: June 05, 2012 07:09:07 PM
We received a wonderful and fun package from A2JC4life. The book was Elephants Aloft. It was about 2 little elephants that go to visit their aunt via hot air balloon. Well, when my daughter opened the box, a silver balloon floated up. This so SOOO neat. It even made me smile. What a great idea! She made the cutest and softest deep purple elephant stuffie, and an adorable basket for him/her to travel in (or to store little things in, or any number of uses). She also sewed a crayon holder roll which we will be using in a few weeks when we go on vacation. Thank you so much. What a wonderful package!

35  Bunny Doll in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by Momof2! on: April 01, 2012 05:31:31 AM
I made this bunny doll for a swap. Basically just a simple doll drawn out with ears added. She's not perfect, and nothing fancy, but I really like her. I am working on one now for my daughter Smiley

36  Bunny Basket in Easter by Momof2! on: April 01, 2012 05:26:31 AM
I made this little bunny basket for the Spring/Easter swap. I just used a tutorial for the basket and added ears and a face. I think it turned out pretty good.

37  Re: Spectacular Spring Easter Swap! GALLERY in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by Momof2! on: April 01, 2012 05:19:36 AM
Plaidpineapple, the marble maze is basically a marble sewn between 2 pieces of fabric. I saw it on mom2em's pintrest and had never heard of anything like it before. I think it's a really neat idea. I made it fairly simple because her daughter is young. It could be made even more simple for even younger kids or more complicated for older ones. I am including another picture of it. I just painted the start and end "x" on it.

My daughter received a really fun package from Mom2em. There was homemade playdoh (how fun is that) with lamitated sheets that go with it for making things from the playdoh like a face for the woman or carrots in the garden. I'm not good at explaining, but it's fantastic and my daughter LOVES them. She made stuffies, bean bags, scavenger hunt game, matching times game, adorable bunny hair bow, hello kitty chalk board, soaps, easter cards with string to weave around it, stickers, hamster eraser, gosh, it  was a lot of stuff. Thank you so much! My daughter loves everything.

39  Re: Creepy Cute Swap Round 2 - Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Momof2! on: March 21, 2012 06:22:35 PM
My daughter received the greatest package today from Ohiodiygirl! She loves horses and skelanimals soooooo she was very happy to see a painting of a horse skelanimal for her room...awesome! She is also crazy about Jack Skellington and got a crocheted Jack and some awesome earrings. Not only that, but a really cute necklace and some Angry Birds ribbon. She's already bugging me to make her a hairbow. Thank you so much Ohiodiygirl. You are VERY talented!

40  Re: Personal/Private Swap Gallery, 2012 in The Swap Gallery by Momof2! on: February 10, 2012 05:19:29 AM
I did a personal swap with Madhatteh. We were both doing the stuffed envelope swap and wanted to do more so we did a personal stuffed envelope swap. She sent 3 YES 3 little purses. One for me and one for each of my daughters. She picked perfect fabric and attached buttons that were totally awesome. My 12 year old took her button off the purse this morning and put it on her jacket before she went to school. Great job Madhatteh and thank you!
