1  Re: Winter inchie-houses gallery in The Swap Gallery by smrlvn on: December 19, 2013 07:13:31 AM
Sorry for the delay on posting pictures...I received inchie houses from rockingbearranch and ameliarator...and boy were they lovely! I just love them both. I can't wait to set up a full inchie house village! Thank you so much!
Here are both houses before:

Here are both houses after:

Detailed shots of the inchie from rockingbearranch (look at that cute little christmas tree peeking out through the front door, and you can see it through the side windows too but the picture doesn't show it well):

Detailed shots of the inchie from ameliarator (She even included a Doxie on the envelope...and are these pipe cleaner pine trees?):

And here is why I was delayed....my doxie went into labor and brought me these three bundles of joy (all boys)!

2  Starburst wrapper flower card in CHALLENGE 93 ENTRIES by smrlvn on: December 04, 2013 10:20:31 AM
I hand cut the wrappers from Starbursts to make layered flowers for a greeting card. The banner/leaves coming off the flowers say "Thinking Of You". I used white cardstock and kraft cardstock for the base, and accented with pink embroidery floss and pink/yellow/orange washi tape.

Making the card was only half the fun....since my whole family loves Starburst candy!

3  Re: Winter Themed cards for the card swap in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by smrlvn on: November 18, 2013 12:04:30 PM
Realized that the images were very tiny....first time posting pictures and I messed it up. I uploaded them again, and think they are viewable better now.

Thanks for looking Smiley

4  For You card in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by smrlvn on: November 18, 2013 12:01:53 PM
My mom needed a card to send to my cousin with a donation for his marching band. Loved the way the gold sets this off, was concerned it would clash with the black and white of the music notes, but since his school colors are gold and maroon, I wanted to use it anyway. Very quick and simple to make: Gold cardstock to cover the base of a simple white card, then white/black music note paper cute 1/2 inch smaller than the gold, stamped For You sentiment on white cardstock, mounted on gold cardstock, then a small strip of maroon paper since I didn't have any maroon ribbon.

5  Winter Themed cards for the card swap in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by smrlvn on: November 15, 2013 12:51:13 PM
I participate in a card swap at my local scrapbooking store. I made these two cards for the swap. I used some store bought embellishments, my cricut, my new Texture Boutique, and stamps/embossing powder. I hope you like them Smiley
