Everything is looking so great. You people are so creative! That bird! And the metal movable doll with accessories! And office supplies--I never would have thought.  Great work all!

What are TM patches?

I have (or will have by Sunday) all the prep work done but the assembly has to be done at my mom's house--I hope it goes quickly since the Oscars are that night!  I can't wait to see the gallery filling up!

I love it--the "Keep Calm and ..." art works are great!

Was able to get materials for my big item today and am eager to start assembling, but the majority of that will probably have to wait until this next weekend when I can get to my mom's because she has the necessary equipment!
15  CROCHET / Crochetalongs / Re: 50+ Wash Cloths-along- Active (updated Jan. 2012) on: February 10, 2012 04:49:39 PM
Well, I'm not sure if I'm going to make 50--that seems like an awful lot--but I need something to do in the car on my commute, so I'm going to start making some.  And this thread has such a lot of great patterns!  I'm planning on starting with Vanilla Grit, Almond Back, and Bark Sedge since a lot of people seemed to start with those.

Thanks all for your kind words!

Mingus107, LOL!--no etsy shop, have never even considered it!

thefourthwall I am so glad you like it.  You can print on fabric with an ink jet printer.  Here is a tutorial from a great textile artist Linda Matthews http://www.linda-matthews.com/printing-on-fabric-101-the-basics/
Try the lemon tea with honey it is my favorite.

Cool!  Thanks!

I received on Monday and was surprised to see that Bakeneko had sent me not one, but two mug rugs!!!

The first she was doing for "practice" but it turned out very cute...

with a very cool, scripty background...

And the second...

One side has an embroidered flower

and the other has a Dante Rossetti picture peeking out through a leaf!  I love it!

Close up.

I think it's Rossetti's "Prosperpine" (or Persephone); he's is a Pre-Raphaelite artist that I really like--how on earth did you get that image in fabric?!

And if that all wasn't enough, she sent me tea, too!

(sorry for the blurriness--I can't wait to try the Lemon!)

Thanks for such a fantastic package, Bakeneko!

OH. MY. GOSH. I know I've already posted my package from CraftyMamaBee, but I had to share.  Remember the awesome apple journal cover?

The apple is a pocket!!!!!  How awesome is that? I had put it on one of my school notebooks and was pulling it out when I realized it.  Sorry that I hadn't noticed at first, CMB!  Your work was even cooler than I'd realized!
