1  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Spruced Up! on: January 05, 2012 01:37:35 PM
So I had surgery on my foot yesterday, and they put this boring black boot/cast thing on me...Bleh!

So I decided it needed a little personal touch! I acquired some of that colored and designed duct tape from good ole Wal-Mart! It only took me about thirty minutes, and it makes me a little happier when I see it!
What do ya think?

5  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Help ASAP please!! [thread jams] on: October 19, 2011 06:54:47 PM
OK so I've tried everything on my machine (Singer) Shocked, re-threaded it multiple times, made sure the bobbin was in correctly, made sure I was turning the wheel towards me, I even replaced the thread.
The top thread keeps getting caught somewhere around the bobbin and jams the machine so bad I have to almost manhandle the wheel to get the jammed thread out.
Has anyone had this problem and know how to fix it so that it wont jam after only a few stitches Huh??
6  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Under Armour fabric on: October 17, 2011 06:17:39 PM
Has anyone every sewn with the fabric like they use for UnderArmour shirts. I have a shirt from a past deployment that's too big and I want to make a pillow from it. Thanks for any future help!!
