Aww the 3D cupcakes are adorable! And the setting with the plate and the tiny spoon makes them even cuter ^^
I would love to know how to make one Smiley
3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Beaded bangle (with tutorial) on: June 05, 2007 02:49:38 PM

I made some beaded bangles the other day and thought I might as well try making a tutorial for once.

This is what you'll need:
~ A plain bangle
~ Wire
~ Bunch of beads
~ Wire cutter

Step 1: Start off by cutting a piece of wire in a manageble length.

Step 2: Put one bead through the end of the wire and make a loop in order to secure it.

Step 3: Wrap the wire around the bangle.

Step 4: Slip on another bead onto the wire.

Step 5: Wrap around the bangle and make sure the beads are fasten tightly. Repeat from step 4 until the wire ends. Secure the end by hiding it inside an already attached bead.

Step 6: Repeat from step 1 until the whole bangle is covered with beads. Done!

Let me know if anything is unclear. Since it's my first tutorial I'd be happy to receive constructive critisism. And please post pictures of your bangles if you do try this out! Smiley

Thanks for looking!

Does anyone have rox/abricot's address to send to her?

She used to be active on Nervousness.org and her address can be found on this page:
http://nervousness.org/people/index.cgi?id=thekilltoy

But I'm not sure if she's still into this Mail Art thing because she's been gone for a long while and people on Nervousness have sent her things without getting any returns.
(See the unanswered questions at the bottom of her Nervousness page, the feedback she has collected and this forum thread of people looking for her: http://forums.nervousness.org/index.php?showtopic=9767&hl=thekilltoy)

I don't know, I just think if she's not answering emails, PMs and questions maybe that means she doesn't want to participate in this anymore? Maybe something has happened and she has gotten too busy. I'd say we skip her and send the decos to the next person just to get things moving...

Just wondering who has what at the moment and if anyone has got her own deco back..
Would be very nice to see pictures of everyone's work if the decos manage to travel a full circle Smiley

Edited to add that I don't have any decos right now, but the only one I haven't worked in is hijole's "Bare Bones". Oh and I haven't got my own back yet

Just wondering where the envelope with the ATCs is right now... and when I can expect to receive it Smiley

I believe I'm only waiting for one book to arrive (except from my own) which is hijole's Bare Bones
