8  Addicted to shrinkies! <pic heavy> in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by LielC on: February 17, 2012 01:13:25 PM
Finally found a store in my area that sales shrink plastic sheets!

Made this for the boyfriend on Valentines day (We're both uber geeks ;> ). He loved it, and it was fun seeing his excitement over such a small thing Smiley

Saw lots of these "bird out of cage" necklaces, and absolutely LOVED the concept. I think the cage came out great, hate the bird though...

Sister saw my companion cube, and asked me to make this so she'd have something to give to her boyfriend (who is apparently, an Adidas addict)

Not a shrinky, but I'm so proud of this Cheesy This is actually made from a butterfly wing polymer clay cane that I made. Took HOURS, and I was on the verge of giving up so many times. happy I didn't Smiley

9  first amigurumi attempt :) in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by LielC on: January 25, 2012 12:01:04 PM
I've always wanted to learn crocheting, and since I spend most of my sundays and Thursdays on the roads, figured it's a damn good time to start Smiley

So after some researching and granny squares, decided it's time for amigurumi!

The first one is from a pattern I heavily modified so it'd be smaller (and also because of pattern misreading ;P )
I didn't have any safety eyes, and all I had were these buttons...

then my mom got really excited so she gave me her secret stash yarn (she used to knit us sweaters when we were kids), and I just had to use those greens Smiley I didn't use any pattern so I'm really proud with the outcome

10  Lots of earrings and a teapot :> in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by LielC on: October 20, 2011 04:31:48 AM
Last weekend had lots of time to craft (with the boyfriend being away Wink ),so here're some of the creations:

I think the most successful thing I made in this batch: Ladybug earrings Smiley

cute tiny companion cube

my sis wanted the ribbons earrings and the skull

I'm a little teapot~

I actually dislike these, the colors are wayyyy too dark... and now I have this huge cane I don't want XP
