My hubby's b-day is today and he, like me, is a big ol' gamer nerd.  He is WAY into Diablo 2 (yes, still, even though the game is 10 years old - it is just that good).  In the game is an object called a Horadric Cube, that you use to combine runes, game equipment, gems, and the like to make better gear for your characters.

Here is a shot of the Cube along with an inserted image of how the original looks in the game. I had to use a fair amount of imagination to make it.

Sorry for bringing up an old thread, but this is amazing! I was actually searching for information regarding Diablo 3 such as the runestones and the diablo 3 skills and I found this thread (duh !)

I was just wondering, what type of rocks/materials did you use to build these runestones? They really look realistic. I am looking to build such props for my little brother birthday.
