2  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Stuffed Trout wrapped with applewood bacon on: October 10, 2007 08:24:46 AM
I got 2 whole trout from Fresh Direct and made this creation.  It's stuffed with thinly sliced onions doused with balsamic vinaigrette and sage leaves and thyme.  Then wrapped with two thickly cut slices of applewood bacon and roasted in the oven for 45 minutes. Served it with gnocchi in browned butter with sage to tie it in.

This is my second attempt at a blanket.  It's not finished yet but I am loving it!  The yarn is so soft and warm.  Hopefully I can finish it before the cold comes to NYC!

6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / pencil skirt from dress on: June 14, 2005 09:59:58 AM
I found this great dress yesterday at a thrift store and while the top doesn't fit, the bottom would make an absolutely gorgeous pencil skirt.  Does anyone know how to explain the process because I have never done anything like it and really want this skirt for my b-day next week.  The dress is in this style:
