Does anyone know if I need to put interfacing on the strap?
Are you sewing a strap from the fabric you have? I would probably use interfacing just so you have some extra strength because it would be unfortunate to have a weak strap with an awesome bag. Maybe you could use fabric as your interfacing instead?
that is SO cute, and the ribbon really gives it a feminine touch What pattern did you use? Really love it
I used the "boy beanie" pattern from the Happy Hooker book. I think it's just called "boy beanie," right everyone? It's really easy to follow--trust me, it's my first hat, my first crotchet pattern, and I have very little crotchet experience.
I've been a knitter for several years but haven't really ventured too far into the realm of crotcheting...BUT...my friend got me The Happy Hooker for my birthday so what did I do? I took up crotcheting! Here is my first project:
It's the boy beanie pattern minus the strips and plus a cute ribbon. I would like to say that the ribbon is just for show but really it's there to keep the hat secure on my head. The beanie fits perfectly but it isn't quite snug enough so I weaved a ribbon through the edge so I can tighten it.
Ok, I have done a couple rasterbations but haven't had the time to print them... A friend of mine tried and printed his but he said the dots seemed really course and not well defined. Is this normal with rasterbations? Or should the dots be smooth and well defined/rounded?
