Here is my latest rainy day project. All you need is canvas, fabric, carpet tape, scissors, a ruler, and tacky glue.

I am so happy with the way it came out and it really adds to the room.

I made a tutorial if you care to try making one. I love to see some other ideas.

Christmas Stocking I made from my Sons Onesies that no longer fit him. Didn't have the heart to sell them so I recycled them.

6  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Christmas Stocking made out of my Sons Old Onesies/Baby Clothing on: November 07, 2011 08:02:05 AM
So my son is about 7 months old now and I decided to go threw his old clothing to drop of at the consignment shop. I found my self oohing and ahhing of them again and just could not find it in my heart to sell them. So they had been sitting in a bag in the corner of my dinning room collecting dust. And it clicked he needs a Christmas stocking I created a pattern and cut up six onesies into rectangles and patch worked them together. I also used some super soft fleece banker fabric for the flap and the inside.  I am so happy with the results and it's a great reminded of the past 6 month and something hopefully he will always have. Smiley And of course I couldn't leave mommy and daddy out. I made up a couple for us as well. Enjoy.
