21  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / Curiosity Cabinet on: February 19, 2015 07:18:41 AM
I made this for sheepblue in the ongoing ATC swap, and I think it turned out pretty cool!  *Note: I didn't draw the images, just made the paper look aged and made the "cabinet" itself.

The knobs turn to reveal these images as well:

22  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / Red Riding Hood Theatre on: February 17, 2015 08:14:17 AM
I recently made an ATC for gozer in the ongoing ATC swap and she received it, so I can post!

I had been wanting to make something like this for quite some time, and being as we are both huge fans of Red Riding Hood, this seemed like the perfect opportunity. There are magnets on the back of this so that it can go on her fridge.

Action shot:

The players (with a dime for size reference). These are all hand cut.  Very, very carefully.

Gozer tells me she loves it, and I'm glad!  My 8 yr old was disappointed that I sent it away, so I think I will have to make another for him, but maybe use shrink plastic for the characters since cardstock would probably be a bit delicate for his unintentionally destructive little fingers.  Roll Eyes
23  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Common Ground Round 3 on: February 08, 2015 08:20:17 AM

Anyone up for Round 3 of the Common Ground Swap?

The idea is to find something that you and your partner have in common and craft to that, and it can be ANYTHING - you like the same color, have the same number of kids, love the same book/movie.... whatever it is, make something that goes with it.

I'm thinking one medium and one small, and I'd like to open the swap mid- March with about 3 weeks of crafting time.

Thoughts?  Questions? Let's hear them!  Cheesy

24  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / RRH shoes! on: January 10, 2015 06:23:38 PM
I made these shoes for Gozer for Christmas New Year.

I stenciled my own art onto them.  I think I need to make myself a pair now.  Roll Eyes

The photo seems a bit fuzzy for some reason.... but trust me, they look cool!

25  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Embellished Keys on: January 09, 2015 06:10:35 AM
I've wanted to try my hand at these for a while.

My honey bought me a big box of bits and pieces (Grin)  and Jexxican sent me some goodies recently that I thought would be suitable.  So here's my first attempt:

26  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Christmas gifts!! (pic heavy) on: December 10, 2014 08:02:55 AM
I still have a few to go, but here are the t-shirts I've stenciled for Christmas gifts so far this year:

27  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Halloween Gargoyle Tee on: October 12, 2014 05:25:33 PM
Lindyv321 gave my son a Halloween t-shirt a couple of years ago, and now that it's October, it's been a battle to get him to take it off so I can launder it!!  So I decided that perhaps a little Halloween variety in his wardrobe was in order.  So I made him this:

28  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / My first embellished bottle on: September 18, 2014 09:00:32 AM
I made this for Gozer in the IYP.  She is my craftster bestie, so this was a real labor of love and she seems to like it, so, YAY!  Grin

29  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Fandom TM bag -pic heavy on: September 18, 2014 08:52:24 AM
Now that BadWolf314 has received her package, I can show off my big project!  Cheesy  This was my first TM bag and I'm really happy with the way it turned out!

30  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Mini Top Hat on: September 03, 2014 02:39:17 PM
I made this in the Mini Top Hat Swap http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=422398.0#axzz3CI4oNMWe for dfabbric.  She seemed to like it!  Grin

It was paper mache over PVC pipe, with a crackle finish.  I was pretty pleased with the way it turned out. I'm sorry the pics are not the best.
