I made this for the lovely and talented artsycandice in the 3D ATC swap.  I love the way it turned out!  The penny is for scale, of course.  Wink

she posted some excellent pics of it here, if you're interested in closer views:

I found this image on deviantart.com awhile back (artist is damien-gosh) and I loved it, so I saved it in my Silhouette library and finally, today, I created a new shirt just for MEEE!  Grin Grin Grin (squee!)

This swap will be an overload of cute!

You will send 5 tiny items to your partner, the kinds of things they would use to set a scene.  It could be dishes, baskets, flowers, furniture items, pillows, tiny art, light fixtures, rugs, animals, books... you get the idea.  At least 3 of those tiny items must be crafted. Default scale will be 1:12 unless otherwise agreed upon between partners.

24  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Steampunk earrings on: May 28, 2015 11:25:20 AM
When I couldn't find my other steampunk-ish earrings to wear with the awesome necklace gozer made for me a while back, I took advantage of the opportunity to make myself some new jewelry.  I think these may be one of my fave pairs of earrings now!  Winnnn!!

25  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / miniature details swap? on: May 21, 2015 09:54:34 AM
Anyone interested in a swap where we help each other with miniature goodies for setting miniature scenes?

I'm thinking of things like dishes or food items or potted plants, miniature art or miniature art supplies, pillows, chandeliers, books... the little things that can help set a scene.  Sometimes we collect multiple tiny things, more than we need for a project we might be working on...  we could share the wealth a little bit.

I'm thinking of maybe 5 tiny items?  Give about 3 weeks of crafting time over the summer?

Any thoughts?  I'm totally open to ideas, and I would be willing to organize, but also would be happy to allow someone else to do so if they were inclined to.
26  Calls for Swap Angels / Swap Angel Archive / One angel needed for Common Ground 3 swap! -FOUND! on: April 27, 2015 08:49:26 AM
Need an angel for lindyv321.  She is in the US.  I find lindy really easy to craft for because she has SO MANY fun interests.  If I wasn't in the middle of chaos on the home front (daughter just moved out so my house is in a shambles), I'd go ahead and send her a package myself.  Wink

This swap is for one medium and one small, so it's pretty quick and easy.  Two weeks should be ample time to make this happen.

27  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Slytherin tote on: April 20, 2015 09:46:39 AM
I made this for FreakieGeekie in the Common Ground swap. We both love Harry Potter, although I'm a Ravenclaw.  Wink

We also share political views, and this phrase seems to work well with Slytherin, too.  I stenciled the lettering, drew on and painted the crest/snake by hand.

28  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Morning Greeting on: April 20, 2015 09:43:55 AM
I made this for quaggy in the Common Ground swap.  I found the frame in her favorite colors at a yard sale (love of yard sales is something we have in common) and I painted this picture to go in it.

Acrylic on bristol board.

29  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / More jewelry from vintage bits & pieces on: April 15, 2015 08:34:09 AM
I've been making these to stock up for Christmas.

I think the first one is my favorite.
30  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Vintage beaded flower necklace on: April 10, 2015 09:35:05 AM
I like to take found items and turn them into something new.  This used to be a couple of vintage earrings.  I like them better this way.  Wink
