Project Name: Bigger wedge pillow
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: For last season's photogenic prompt, I submitted a wedge pillow I made for my honey.  Well, he's a big guy (y'know... 6'4", broad of shoulder, devastatingly handsome....*swoon*) and that pillow just wasn't big enough to accommodate him as well as I'd thought.  Don't ask me how I decided it ever would have worked, I am not known for my mathematical expertise.  Tongue  Anyway, I made him a new one.  And since, with this crowd, I'm pretty confident that board games would be completely overrun, I figured I'd get in one point for the underdog.  Wink  In the game of Monopoly, one of the things a player aims to do is make money.... lots and LOTS of money.  So here's lots and LOTS of money.  And just as I've said about a million times over the course of my life while playing Monopoly... "wouldn't it be awesome if this was REAL money?"  Grin  Also, just so you know I didn't submit the same pillow twice, I included it in the photo, along with a pair of my honey's glasses (for scale).  My teenaged son will be getting the smaller version.

Project Name: Hamburger
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: My little guy has been on a play food kick and was wishing he had a toy hamburger.  So I grabbed some scrap felt and whipped one up.  It's not the prettiest thing, but it was just a little quickie to make my littlest happy.  And it worked.  Cheesy

152  Mini Top Hat in CHALLENGE 102 ENTRIES by bunny1kenobi on: September 03, 2014 02:39:17 PM
I made this in the Mini Top Hat Swap http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=422398.0#axzz3CI4oNMWe for dfabbric.  She seemed to like it!  Grin

It was paper mache over PVC pipe, with a crackle finish.  I was pretty pleased with the way it turned out. I'm sorry the pics are not the best.

Ok, I'm on a maxi skirt kick.  So easy and so comfy!  This one was so easy I could pretty much just shut my brain off while I sewed.... actually, that's a common state for me, but it gets me in trouble more often than not.  Tongue

154  Super Easy Maxi skirt in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by bunny1kenobi on: September 01, 2014 08:55:15 PM
A yard of fabric - Sewed up the length - Added a hem and an elastic waistband = almost instant maxi skirt.

Project Name:  Tribal maxi skirt
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: On a bit of a maxi skirt kick.... This is made from about a yard of this cool, super stretchy fabric I found on clearance at Joanne (which, is of course, the one main component).  It's lightweight enough to be good for summer but the golds and reds will make it great for fall, too.

157  Maxi skirt made from upcycled t-shirts in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by bunny1kenobi on: August 30, 2014 03:50:24 PM
I saw a dress made of t-shirts on pinterest. I'm more of a maxi skirt girl, so I gave my version a shot:

One of the shirts had trim across the bottom and I decided I liked it. I think I like it on the skirt, as well, but I think that I will stitch it more securely to the blue section of the skirt.

I've been busy today!  I made some projects for a swap that I can't post yet, but I also sewed this up, too!

I really love maxi skirts, they are so comfy!  My kids ask me why I'm dressed up - they don't understand that I'm just dressing for comfort.  Wink

Beautiful photos, calliemae! I'm partial to sepia, too.

I'm crafting up a storm today!

Project Name: Color block maxi skirt

Brief Description: I saw this dress on pinterest and wanted to try my own version, as a maxi skirt.  I think it turned out pretty well!  I'll be wearing it to church tomorrow.  Seriously, I would live in maxi skirts most of the time if I had more of them.  I refer to them as crotchless yoga pants.  It's all about comfort, right?  Wink

The messenger bag is really well done!

That's my fave of your owls, too, AIMR.

I made a dish mat inspired by the dish mat swap.  I may make another, and I think I may even whip up a few for Christmas.
