I'm glad you like your goodies, PerfectlyBohemian!  I'm sorry to see that the lid seems to have come off of the teapot!  Shocked  It used to look like this:

Looks like Gozer and I got some matching items!  LOL! Sweet!

And the bench and tiny mushrooms are so cute, and I love the birdbath, too! They will be perfect for a tiny garden!  Grin

Digging the Les Mis shirt!  We have a good friend who has played both Jean Valjean and Marius, so it's quite dear to my heart as well.  Excellent story, makes me cry every time!

Can't wait to see your purse, gozer!

And I will be trying that enchilada recipe Ludi!  Seriously, it's going on next week's menu.

I have a couple additions, too.

Prompt:  July Starstuff
Team: Wordy!!
Event: Craftology
Bonus Points: -0-
Project Name: Mini Salt & Pepper
Project Link:
Brief Description: Most life on our planet would not survive without salt.  I made these for the mini swap.  You'd be surprised how long it takes to make these tiny things from scratch!!

Prompt:  July In Orbit
Team: Wordy!!
Event: Craftology
Bonus Points: -0-
Project Name: Steampunk pendant
Project Link:
Brief Description: I made this for gozer in the pendant swap.  When it was complete,I realized the chain was WAAAY too short.  I was hunting down a chain that wouldn't strangle the poor girl, when I came across the light pink roses with the little leaves attached and said, "Eureka!"  I added them to the pendant and they became the most unique and fun feature of the piece.

Event: Craftology

Project Name: Lollipop bucket
Project Link:
Brief Description: I made this for the miniature swap.  The lollipops were purchased, and I put the little froggie guy on a tiny wooden flower pot and glued the lollipops in.  I thought it was too cute not to share.

Prompt:  Red Alert - Nerd Pride
Team: Wordy!!
Event: Paperology
Bonus Points: -0-
Project Name: Miniature paperbacks
Project Link:
Brief Description: I love to read, and I love miniatures.  Perfect combination!!  These books actually open, but the pages are blank.  I'm afraid I'm not THAT gifted.  AT least, not yet.  That would be so cool, tho! Sorry about the rather blurry pic....

Team: Wordy!!
Event: Craftology
Bonus Points: -0-
Project Name: Mini Beverage pitchers
Project Link:
Brief Description: As evidenced by previous entries, I am a huge fan of dollhouses and miniatures.  Part of the fun is figuring out how to make tiny things out of common household stuff.  These were made from gel pen caps. It required a lot of patience (and a couple burned fingers) to make the spouts just so.

Bonus Points:
Project Name: Miniature measuring spoons
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: I made this for the miniature swap.  I think it turned out really cute!  I need to make myself a set, now...  And believe me, these little suckers took about an hour to make.  Trial and error, mostly.  Hopefully, now that I have the bugs worked out, the next set won't take as long.  The hidden element is the fact that they are made out of jewelry findings.  Pic to follow.

I got thoroughly spoiled by geekgirl and PerfectlyBohemian!

Wait until you see all the goodies!!

I opened PerfectlyBohemian's package first and oh... wow...

This was the first delight I found:

And it's a REAL WORKING clock!!   Coolest thing ever.

Cinnamon rolls that look good enough to eat, an awesome cutting board with a knife, some little extras: corkscrew, scissors and key, and in the bag are 2 bags of coffee... I left them in there because there were loose "coffee beans" in the bag that I didn't want to have disappearing!

Look how teeny and realistic they are!

She also sent this awesome pantry cupboard and all the goodies you see on it! (Except the penny... Cheesy)  There's a plethora of canned goods, cereal, soap, crackers and starch, and some delicious looking sugary treats as well!

Thank you PerfectlyBohemian!  I love it all!

And geekgirl1000100 sent awesomeness as well!

First up, these amazing origami books and some little jars that made me squee!

Such realistic bread in the cutest basket!  And the little crate of amazing veggies -- they look so real, I was awed!  Also really realistic pizza, and look at the tiny bacon and eggs!  There's a fried egg in the frying pan, too!  So perfect!

Thank you geekgirl!

You BOTH have amazing skills!  Wow, so impressed!!

I also received pendants from Thimbles71!  Unlike gozer, I did just one group shot.

My favorite is also the black and white one with the red background!

Thank you Thimbles, they are all lovely!

Wow, those are really pretty!  I would have a hard time choosing between them if I had to pick a fave!

I received awesome pendants from gozer, as well!  A pretty wire wrapped pendant and a cute birdhouse!  Love the colored wire she used.

I also really like the fun details on the birdhouse - the little flower and this adorable owl:

Gozer dislikes birds intensely, so the fact that this text was totally randomly part of the pendant is so hysterical:

"beat a person"... in bold, no less!  So funny!

18  Four seasons of fairy tales in New Swap Theme Ideas by bunny1kenobi on: July 08, 2015 12:24:00 PM

How about a fairy tale swap with a bit of a twist?

We each craft 4 items, one that is inspired by each of the 4 seasons.  We're talking 4 smalls, here, so nothing debilitating.

We're thinking signups starting the 19th, thru the 1st and send outs on August 24th-ish.

Gozer and I would be delighted to organize/co-organize.

And we're happy to hear suggestions too.
