1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / Re: July & June ATCs on: July 26, 2015 10:26:56 PM
Thanks, y'all.
Circle head alien guy has made appearances in a lot of my wotk in the past. Many paintings, and many incarnations - including Alex DeLarge and as a kitty cat.

Here is one I sent out in an IG swap (#cpatcswap):

Well, it won't allow me to upload any more photos, so that's all for now!

I have made some more but have swapped them and need to gind the photos on other devices, but these are most of the cards I have made the last two-ish months. There are a few different styles, techniques,  and mediums - it was a little exciting to jump back into making ATCs after five-ish years.

Get the fudge out. (I am working on cleaning up my vocabulary so that my son doesn't end up with the mouth of a sailor, like his mama.)

You guys have some seriously awesome work, now that I have had time to go back and look at all the other entries.

Looking forward to drooling over all the colorful hooplas I will be seeing for March.

This is amazing. I am seriously jealous of your swap partner.

Amazing work!!! I think it's really creative that you mounted the embroidered pieces onto a different fabric, it's not something I would have thought of.

I can't believe that I was able to finish this in time. I started it at the beginning of the month, but have been really busy. I think my almost-10 month old is about to cut his first tooth, because he has been CRANKY the last two days. Glad I actually finished it.

I have been embroidering for over 20 year, but have never been very adventurous with my stitches. This challenge was a good chance for me tp try some new stitches. I actually ended up stitching more than what ended up in the finished hoop, but oh well. Stitches used were chain (new), herringbone (new), cross stitch (old), back stitch (old), gern stitch (new), sheaf stitch (new), feather stitch (new), running stitch (old), blanket stitch (old, but a variation that is new to me. I chose to do a sampler in rainbow colors because I love rainbows.  I also had a REALLY hard time choosing one color, so my solution to that problem.is almost always RAINBOW.

Sorry about the crappy cell phone pics, but I will likely take nicer ones for my blog, so I should be able to replace 'em tomorrow.

I am excited to try this! I found out about the January challenge a few days ago, and wanted to enter, but I just didn't have enough time. February's challenge is perfect for me, because I pretty much only use straight stitch, back stitch, and blanket stitch. It is definitely time to expand my horizons!

So cute! And I love that you replaced the candy you don't like with stuff you do, even though it isn't edible, you are too funny.

Oooooh, creepy. I love it!
Seriously, those eyes really have a ton of life to them. You've got some real talent!
