1  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Charizard amigurumi on: January 24, 2015 02:13:44 PM
Ooooh he looks great!  I especially love the tail.  What did you do with the inside of the wings -- is it glued felt?
No, I sewed the felt and then I made a chain with the wool to hide the stitches. This way the felt bends but not the wool and looks more like a dragon wing

This is an amigurumi that I started a few years ago. At first it was a birthday present for a friend, but I couldn't finish it on time, so now I think I'm gonna keep it for myself. I hope you like it and I'll appreciate your comments  Grin

6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Darth Vader brooch on: January 28, 2012 08:52:58 AM
This is a Darth Vader brooch made with felt. I made this for a friend who wanted it as a present for her sister. Vader is saying "MIR Wars survivor" because her sister has to do her MIR exam this weekend and loves Star Wars.
It is 8 cm tall.

Note: It is NOT my original idea, it is based on this

I have always wanted to make something with felt, so... this is my first attempt with it!
It's a Yoda brooch of about 4 cm tall. It took me about 6 hours to make it, but I like the result ^^
