I own a few pairs of converse and could not resist the chance to put some embroidery goodness on them. This took me several months, partly due to starting a new job and being busy. I will say that this is the most challenging embroidery medium I have encountered. A small pair of pliers helped with getting the needle in and out. Overall a very rewarding project that I would definitely do again
I use one of those plastic cases divided into little squares for my supplies. I have one square devoted to floss odds and ends. Sometimes I end up using those scraps because I only need a short bit. Mostly I like looking at the swirl of colors.
I also have a piece of velcro in my supply box that I use to strip floss. I use the hook side because it grips the strands.
