I like all but I really love the medical type ones! I have loads of these type of images from being at uni and doing medically based art projects (I'd like to say it was a phase...) but NOW I know what to do with them! Yay! Ph x

Owl and puffin - such a fantastic combintion and the umbrella just completes it!! I love it - its fab!

I went to puffin island one and saw exactly no puffins! Maybe they were all hiding under umbrella's with owls?

Phew, thanks guys!!

I've posted a tute of how to make the book separetely otherwise there'd be way too many pics here! (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=51923.0)

So when you've folded the book...or if you just want to try this idea out anywhere...I've tried to cobble together some kind of help as to how I did the rest - though these are my first tutes so I hope they're okay?!

Here goes...

oops should say black INK pen

Phew! Makes me wish I'd taken pics of the original while I was making it!

Hop this is okay...it's my first proper tute...

This kinda goes along with my Going to the zoo thread but I didn't want to overload with too many pics. And it kind of holds up on it's own I guess.

This is soooooo easy and comes in very handy if you need something to draw or just jot in and you can only find sheets of paper. So...

Oh, and I made this book to remind myself how to make these...yeah, a book on how to make a book...duh! I should really get out more! Grin

It recycles some package paper I received something in. I can explain further if you can't read the writing in it.

Hopefully these are clearer photos!

Ta da! See I told you it was easy! Ph x

Well, actually we went already and it was fab...and armed with a sheet of paper this is what I created!

I'm in practice for my Little Visitor Swap so comments appreciated!

It's a sheet of A4 paper folded to make a book, pretty simple but I can post a tute if anyone wants? Makes a handy book to keep in your pocket and can be made from just about any paper of any size!

The front

1st double page - elephants

2nd double page - birdies

3rd double page - giraffes & a page of me feeling sorry for the caged ones Sad

Back - the bat cave (my favourite place)

The whole darn thing in miniture

Thanks to all!

Mek - I used some fluffy teddy bear filling I had lying over from making felt loppy rabbits - seems to have done the job. I'll try and find out what it was called.
