I'm from a village near Manchester originally (well about 20 miles south) but it's the closest town. Actually it's about a mile from Manchester Airport. But since I'm skinter than my parents I now live in Runcorn which is somewhere between Manchester & Liverpool. That's probably not making any sense though Roll Eyes

Maybe a slang/term list would be fun to include too then we can all learn some new terms? I'd love to get an American slang list then I could confuse people Wink

Hee, I guess I'd better stop committing my English accent to tape then, huh? Roll Eyes

I've not actually done this at all (before the complaints swing in), but I think it would be kind of fun to read a sort story or poem (especially one associated with their country) and send it over with the goodies.

Okay, so I can maybe take a wild stab that one of them I know - though not exactly if you know what I mean. But the others, not a clue!!

Will take pictures (as ordered by Her Nushyness) for the gallery Wink

I got one, I got one! Grin Nushy - yours is here! Must Not Open...

I swear the postman thinks I'm a nutter - answering the door beaming at him and shrieking and all! He'll have to get an especially super-nice card this Christmas from me after all the parcels I've made him lug around!

No, the butterflies were an impulse ebay purchase months ago - this is their first outing!
8659  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: UK "Dear Santa" Swap. CLOSED Send by: 17TH DEC on: December 20, 2005 12:08:33 PM
Yeah that's the address, I was getting myself all confused sending out but I'm pretty sure they're all in the correct packets Roll Eyes

Nushy - Aw, you are special! It was recommended to me cos of the weight of the thing. She seemed to think it best so I just went along with it - I couldn't bear the idea of it not arriving till after Christmas!

Sooooo excited they're arriving, and I love the idea about posting pics of them wrapped up! I spent a very happy day wrapping all my gifts up Grin On that note, all of mine are fully wrapped so you can open the addressed packaging so they look nice under a tree - but go no further!!

Ha ha, guess mine, really? We'll just have to see about that, won't we?

I love wrapping presents so much!!
