I found this site yesterday, and I already love it! I have found so many beautiful things, and I am really inspired!
As a thanks, I thought that I could share this little idea: The guinnea pig cage for the guinnea pigs I had before!
I have to tell that it is not I who have made this... it is my boyfriend, or, the two of us together. But the idea is mine, and I think this is a good idea, to show it here. He thinks its okay, too
This is a single wardrobe, bought for approximatly 500 norwegian kroners. When we put it together, it had a "floor" and a "1st floor", and to doors (sorry about my norwegian-english-writing).
My boyfriend used some old shelves to make the other floors. So, the bottom one got to be the basement where we had the food, pellets, etc. The next one had the floor all the way, because it was the original shelf. So the second(?) floor, which pointed our way, with a board as "stairs". The third floor, opposite way,the board toward us, and the last floor pointing our way.
The top floors:
Then he cut out the middle of the doors, and replaced them with some mesh (?)
We nailed some sand paper on the board so that the guinnea pigs could climb up and down without problems.
The result was that they really loved it. It took them some days to get used to the climbing, but the result was three, really happy and healthy guinnea pigs!
