Details of swap:
This is a swap for promotional materials. You send in promotional materials for your shop/service to me, I will distrubute the materials, and you will receive other people's promo materials to include with items that you sell. Lia let me know there is a swap like this on TheSwitchboards.com, so I have taken some of the swap info from there.
Items to send:
Promo materials can be anything: business cards, postcards, buttons, stickers, fliers, etc. You should plan to send enough that each person who signs up can get at least 10 of your materials. So, if 10 people sign up, you should send in 100.
How will this work:
After sign ups have been completed, I will let everyone know how much promo materials they should send. You must also include postage for a USPS Priority package to be sent back to you. If you are in the US, you can either send a $3.85 priority stamp or you can paypal me the money. If you are international, I will let you know how much you should include for shipping before you send your promo materials. If I do not receive the shipping costs by the time the swap is over, your items will not be sent and you will not receive any.
If this all works out, we can plan on organizing one every other month. I am asking that if you participate in another swap like this to let me know. This way I can omit promo materials from people you already receive them from. I am also asking that you include how many sales you think you will make in the next 2 months. This way I can send more materials to people who can use them.
Let me know if I missed anything or you have any further suggestions. Also, does anyone think I should package up the grouped promo materials or will people just take care of that when they receive them? I don't mind doing it if anyone has any good ideas...
If possible, send your stuff in a catalog sized envelope. This way I can re-use it when I send your stuff back!
