Sarah - I hear ya on the being absent thing...I feel that I haven't contributed anything to this thread in forever! Life's been keeping me very busy! And I haven't had much time to craft (boo hoo)...

Anyhoo, the wristlet you made is really pretty ...I love the fabric! And the price is good too. I just wanted to say that I love your jade earrings too. Really pretty.

Nessa - Glad to hear that I'm not the only one!  I've been keeping the shop up and even making new things, but I seem to have so little free time left!  That's partially due to getting sucked into the etsy chat void, oy, love it lots but it eats up my evenings! I should be spending my time uploading my products onto my new webpage (yay!), but instead i'm just chatting away the evening.  I'm such a punk sometimes 

Thanks for the compliment!  I love that fabric too.  I even went back to Joanns and bought more after I saw how cool the wristlets turned out.  Now to keep myself from adopting one of them!  I have to remind myself that I don't wear turquoise or red  Very tempting though!

And thanks for the jade comment!  Those are one of the first wire pieces of jewelry I ever made and they turned out to be so popular.  I'm going to have to find more new jade soon as I'm going to run out soon! eep!

I have no idea if it fits your style.  If you're not sure, but still want to sell them, market them as a 'one time only, limited run, get your camel while the humps are good' kinda deal.

I wouldn't mind being asked, I'm very free with sharing the information I've gleaned over the years (in both a craft and business sense).  However, if my words were to be published for profit, I would definitely want some sort of compensation.  I'm not talking about alot of money, just something comperable to the size and publication level of the finished work

i'm seriously contemplating a jewelry of the month thing.  I'm still getting feedback from other people, but would welcome anyone's opinoins here.

My only issue is that my jewelry o' the month thing wouldn't be a cheap thing, so I'm not sure how many people would be able/willing to spend ~$100 for 6 months of earrings (I use sterling silver and mostly semi-precious gems).  I know that I don't have $100 sitting around, but I'm also not the type of individual who'd buy a 'earrings of the month' type thing.  So yeah, anyone's opinion on the whole thing would be very much appreciated!

I don't like the slow speed/crashes/errors either, but I'm hoping that alot of this will be solved by the new servers they've bought.  I am glad that I'll be getting up my own website soon, hopefully there will be less issues there.
