I'm Amanda and I live in Richmond, VA. I don't mind a tasteful nude or grown-up words, but please give me a heads up on the envelope or pm, since I have two snooping kids.. I have a pug and a pitbull. I play World of Warcraft and work in electronic security.

My themes are:
glitter
zombies
glitter'd zombies (HA!)
robot love
body image (seasonal, huh)
cleaning
street signs
phonebooths/payphones
high heels
donuts
sea creatures
allergic reactions

I am LOVING all of these hearts everywhere! These are gorgeous. I love the rough edges too. ...You clearly care much more for your coworkers than I do. =p

6  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: By Kids for Kids Holiday Swap Gallery! on: December 18, 2011 05:47:44 PM
Coma, So glad it made it and that they liked their package!
I should have included a note -- the ornaments and bracelets were all made from Sculpey and then painted with acrylic. The cards are stenciled and then attacked by foam stickers. It's funny, they aren't usually interested in making similar items and I expected a lot of diversity from them, but no one wanted to be outdone by the other.. As soon as an idea was voiced by one kid, it was immediately copied by the other!

Thanks for a great swap -- we really had a GREAT time!

WE RECEIVED!!!
OMG - the kids have outDONE themselves. What a happy household I have tonight!!

First of all, let me just say that none of us have ever received a gift from out of the country, so this:

blew our minds!

Both kids got adorable pop-up cards.

And here we are with our FAB ornaments!

Sydney decided her ornament needed to go on her special tree in her room. It definitely matches!

Dylan got..wait for it...
DEVIL STICKS!!

He is so excited. He'd never seen them before, but his dad and I have been trying our skills (okay, okay, he gets them back now...) and now he can't WAIT to prove himself on them!! I had a set years ago that my brother and I practiced with daily......Evidentl y those skills did not carry over into my adult years because I've made a great fool of myself already -- and with much more to come, I'm sure!

Sydney has received a set of handmade pink and black pom-poms!! You would have thought she had died and gone to heaven!

Thank you SO much, Nyssa, Kayla, and Nicole! What a great way to end today!

**Side note...All of my pics are sideways. Sorry about that. =\ **

If I had let Sydney work on her original plan, it would have been a hot finished mess.. Kudos on the Craft-splosion!!

Both of mine are in highly organized (yeah right...) planning stages. My youngest is having a harder time understanding the process than I had planned on, but we will get there. Wink

I still maintain -- it looks GREAT.  Cheesy
I personally like how bright white the drum looks.
