41  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Discussion and Questions / Fimo earrings, first time on: May 30, 2006 05:37:24 PM
Hey guys I need some guidance. I've tried looking through the boards but haven't found the answer. I want to make some little charms for earrings and put a wire loop in them to attach them to the earrings. My question is do I make the loop and form the charm around it and bake it or stick the wire in premade holes after it's baked?

43  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Completed Projects / MMM Beer on: February 15, 2006 03:22:44 PM
I saw this saying on a music video and got a good chuckle out of it so I had to make one for my Hubby. It says "save water drink beer".

44  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / Look-a-Like blanket on: February 15, 2006 03:12:34 PM
I haven't had a cat for years and my Husband swore we would never get one. But I saw our future kitty at the pound(while I was looking for dogs, not sure I ended up looking at cats) and thought she was so pretty I had to take her home, luckily my Husband agreed.
I saw this pattern and had to have it, I mean Miss Kitty had to have it. Only I wanted it to look like her since the other reason I wanted to make it was to save my Husbands black gaming chair. Heres a pic of my kitty for comparison, it's not the best but she's to busy chasing the other animals right now.

And here's her blanket. I appliqued the pieces with the sewing machine using a satin stitch.

46  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Favourite drink swap! on: January 22, 2006 11:04:27 AM
Well this was inspired by the cosmo/martini swap as can be seen here as well as the beginning so the round two discussion. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=71752.110

Everyone received some awesome stuff but some of us non-martini folks are feeling left out. So it's a favourite drink swap instead. Swap time should be sometime in Feb. hmm perhaps sign ups from Feb.3 to the 13th and send out be March 1? That will give over a week of sign ups and a little over two weeks to craft. Sound good? I'm open to any dates as long as it starts in Feb.

48  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / the simple dog coat made to late on: January 07, 2006 02:45:32 AM
So I want to put my dog in a cute shirt but my Husband refuses but I finally got him to cave for when we went home to Ohio this Christmas, but Falcor was only allowed to wear it in Ohio. But the project got pushed behind all the other last minute Christmas gifts so my poor puppy never got his jacket  Cry I already had the pattern cut out so I decided to go ahead and sew it up so my Moms dog can be warm. It's reversable and currently being wore by my bear  Cheesy

49  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / message board on: January 07, 2006 02:40:50 AM
So this isn't all that impressive but I thought it was a good idea. I saw this project in a book I got from my library about reusing stuff around your house. So I made this dry erase message board out of some old clear vinyl(a cut up bag some sheets came in), some pretty paper I had, and the marker holder is a mini-m&m container decorated in the same paper.

50  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / memento mori shirt on: January 07, 2006 02:36:53 AM
Yay this is the first time I've came up with a recon shirt on my own! Usually I try the designs I see on here so thanks to you guys for my inspiration here's my improved shirt. I've had this shirt for years and love it but it's not flattering at all.

Here's the after. I cut the sleeves off and put them on the side, cut the neck and of course sized it down. It's not the best pic...my mirror looks really dirty lol.

Here's the side of the shirt.
