Why thank you Smiley

I made a quick and easy infinity scarf out of the rest of my crazy Star Wars fabric, inspired by one I saw on pinterest. I have had a crappy week (yeah it's only Monday but crappy as poop so far) so I needed something to make me smile. I have also been knitting away on a sweater so my two biggest space takers are being tackled!

Pardon the somber face but as I said crappy week and the "smiling" pic I took looked even worse  Undecided

Everyone's little projects are great! Every little bit helps, at least that's what I keep telling myself lol.

Kookaloo_Starr I love your scrappy curtain! I have thought about doing something similar for my craft room.

I made a little wall hanging for myself for the fake swapalong. The quote is from the Boondock Saints. I have had this project idea floating around in my head for over 2 years so I am happy to finally see it in real life. Everything is handstitched Smiley For the batting I used some sweatshirt material, I only have a few more bits left of it. Yay!

Kookaloo_Starr I am not a heart person but your quilt blocks look great.

I just received for the fake tv/movie swap! A lovely little wall hanging featuring a quote from The Boondock Saint's. For those of you not familiar with the movie their is a bartender named Doc who has tourette's, always get's proverbs mixed up, and cusses...a lot. Which you would think that it is because of the tourette's but everyone cusses a lot in the movie.

Close up of all the stitching, all by hand and my partner says she is very proud of herself.

Gorgeous! Really just wow, I am kind of picky about the mixed media art (sometimes it's just so busy) but very impressed. It looks pretty large too with your hand as a reference. What size canvas did you use? I love barn owls, well owls in general but barn owls are always so beautiful.

I never thought I would have a reason to say this but that plague doctor is adorable!

Loving all the color combos on the yarn goodies (even the sports teams...not a sports person). It is always so hard for me to pair colors together on my own. I have been knitting away, well knitting a bit anyways on a sweater. Love the history of the yarn for the prayer scarf.

And yum to some cheese grits! I like plain butter and salt too but cheese is where it's at. I am originally from Ohio but have been in the south going on 9 years and have become accustomed to being able to order and/or buy grits. The past few years I have traveled quite a bit for work and whenever I venture from the south I want some grits and at times it's been hard to find them.

I really like the overall design but I agree with you that the harp placement seems odd. Maybe you could place it between some of the multi layers? Like from the top silver chain, I would take the first brass(?) chain under it out. Does that make sense? That way it could still seem like a focal piece.
