could you use them as regular buttons? They don't look very pretty but you could pretty them up yourself.

Yes it's the blue plaid flannel on the inside. The jacket was allowed as long as it was "manly" so I saw the brown fabric and it reminded me of carharts so I ran with that line of thought.

I love the pin, so pretty! Very smart way to hold your scarf.

So I want to put my dog in a cute shirt but my Husband refuses but I finally got him to cave for when we went home to Ohio this Christmas, but Falcor was only allowed to wear it in Ohio. But the project got pushed behind all the other last minute Christmas gifts so my poor puppy never got his jacket  Cry I already had the pattern cut out so I decided to go ahead and sew it up so my Moms dog can be warm. It's reversable and currently being wore by my bear  Cheesy

So this isn't all that impressive but I thought it was a good idea. I saw this project in a book I got from my library about reusing stuff around your house. So I made this dry erase message board out of some old clear vinyl(a cut up bag some sheets came in), some pretty paper I had, and the marker holder is a mini-m&m container decorated in the same paper.

Yay this is the first time I've came up with a recon shirt on my own! Usually I try the designs I see on here so thanks to you guys for my inspiration here's my improved shirt. I've had this shirt for years and love it but it's not flattering at all.

Here's the after. I cut the sleeves off and put them on the side, cut the neck and of course sized it down. It's not the best pic...my mirror looks really dirty lol.

Here's the side of the shirt.
