151  Re: Favorite Alcoholic Drink Swap in The Swap Gallery by lady4feet on: April 27, 2006 05:22:10 PM
This has taken me so long!! First I kept forgetting my camera then it dawned on me that I have a camera on my phone so here some not all that good pictures of the goodies I got from kittykill.

First the best towel ever! My Hubby and I have our kitchen decorated in Jack Daniels(hey we have a lot of left over bottle and a crafty/cheap girl gots to do with what she has) kittykill must have some amazing patients because this is a hand embroidered towel. Which is displayed proudly on our oven handle

These are some various drink decorations and napkins, along with some random stuff that seems to always clutter up the kitchen table. You can't tell very good on the photo but the fruit images actually fold out to be 3-D.

We also got some very yummy winter ale that I'm sad to say made the bud light(walmart has a poor selection of dark beer) we were drinking taste like water!

Sorry it's taken me so long to post. Heres my cool bag from knightswhoknit Thank you so much, knitting is so cool and on my long list of thing to learn how to do.

The handle is a tie(I love ties) and the bag part is I believe strips of a T-shirt. It's funny cause I just got a small wallet/pouch from the one tiny thing swap that mach the purse perfectly.

Check out my cool little pouch, I love the design on it. Thanks bobolink!

Also on the envelope there was tape that had a cute little sushi design on it, where in the world did you find it? I want some, it's so neat.

154  Look-a-Like blanket in Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects by lady4feet on: February 15, 2006 03:12:34 PM
I haven't had a cat for years and my Husband swore we would never get one. But I saw our future kitty at the pound(while I was looking for dogs, not sure I ended up looking at cats) and thought she was so pretty I had to take her home, luckily my Husband agreed.
I saw this pattern and had to have it, I mean Miss Kitty had to have it. Only I wanted it to look like her since the other reason I wanted to make it was to save my Husbands black gaming chair. Heres a pic of my kitty for comparison, it's not the best but she's to busy chasing the other animals right now.

And here's her blanket. I appliqued the pieces with the sewing machine using a satin stitch.

155  Re: Let's trade craft crap round 3 gallery in The Swap Gallery by lady4feet on: February 02, 2006 03:01:29 PM
Yay I finally got some pictures taken(crazy camera). Thank you MsMeow for a wonderful package. This isn't everything either, theres much more but my camera died on me.
Heres the wonderful ties! I've been collecting ties to make a Christmas tree skirt so these round out my collection nicely. Also in this picture is a 70's craft book, some color stickers, pipe cleaners, ribbons and sewing notions.

Here's some of the fabric she sent me along with some edging and fringe.

What isn't pictured is more awesome fabric, some more sewing notions, some purse stuff. I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff as well. Thanks again!

so if there is no  Smiley then you haven't heard at all from them?
Correct I've PM'd everyone last night so hopefully will be hearing back from them soon.

I hope she enjoys it!
I did enjoy it!! I set aside my sewing last night and made this cool bracelet. They're  not the best pics but you get the idea.

And another view...

I loved in your instructions the picture of you kitty with the directions to "thank your assistant". In my kit making process I had all kinds of pictures of my "assistances", lol.

157  memento mori shirt in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by lady4feet on: January 07, 2006 02:36:53 AM
Yay this is the first time I've came up with a recon shirt on my own! Usually I try the designs I see on here so thanks to you guys for my inspiration here's my improved shirt. I've had this shirt for years and love it but it's not flattering at all.

Here's the after. I cut the sleeves off and put them on the side, cut the neck and of course sized it down. It's not the best pic...my mirror looks really dirty lol.

Here's the side of the shirt.

Everyones stuff is awesome! What's the light box made out of?

Heres my stuff from yamwam that I got today. I love it! Here's the group picture. The front of the pillow has a stencile of Hermione, a knitted wristband with HP lightning bolts, a little notebook with pictures of Hermione and the Weasle twins, a book mark and a very cute origami owl.

And here is the back of the pillow with the school crests and all the house crest.

I think I'm going to put the pillow in my living room, it will look great with my red bean bag. Thanks yamwam!

159  Re: 1920s/Flapper Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by lady4feet on: November 22, 2005 04:25:08 PM
Yay I received today! I was so excited because it made my slightly crappy day so much better. I'm in love with hat's! So stoliedina made me a very cool flapper hat, the broach on it is beautiful! It fits perfect, I had a pic of me "modeling" it but I deleted it on mistake. She sent me three mix media paper pieces that are awesome. I have to go through my frame collection to find some for them.

She also made me a pretty little purse with the same fabric as the hat. It's so cute! It will fit my phone and wallet perfectly(I checked, lol.)

160  Re: WooHoo I'm not procrastinating! Updated 11/7 in Winter Holidays by lady4feet on: November 22, 2005 04:16:25 PM
This is what I have for my Grandma. She alway loved when I was little to make cards for her so I made her a few and put them in a covered cigar box. Also she's 95 so she has some awesome story's that I love listening to so I made her an "I remember" book. It's an old sketch book I had lying around and covered with some pretty paper. I wrote the topics for her to write about in calligraphy. Everything was around $3 because I had a lot of it lying around already.

Here's what I have in the remember book but could use some others. Parents, siblings, each kid, pets, different holidays when she was little, first date, her wedding day, first place on own, learning how to drive, WW I and II, great depression, buying first house. Any others you think I could add?
