actually, it is not. i think because you are using yarn, size 13 emb needle and the cloth,is usually 7 count, meaning larger holes. so your not using tiny things like you do in cross stitch projects..i am finding it relaxing!

Happy weaving,

9  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / Re: bag for quilting supplies on: September 29, 2011 10:02:35 AM
There is a hole at the top of my mats. i have them on a hook on the back of my craft room door.
 i use the command strips/hooks.

Jo anns made a mat carrier at one time. it was green. you could fashion your own,if you talking about taking a mat with you to quilting classes.
10  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / Re: fusible batting on: September 25, 2011 04:06:27 AM
i didnt care for fusible batting. because i was trying to do it on an ironing board, the quilt was wider than the board, and had to do it in sections. then i had these "bends" in the quilt from where the quilt lapped over the ironing board. i would say to try it on a smaller quilt and see what you think.   I would rather spray baste with 505.
