Yay!  They are in backwards order, and don't have the little notes,  but there they are!  Thank you so much Mom2em!  So much better than what I sent... Sad

Themes is the easy part for me...quitting coming up with ideas is a little harder :p

LOST (yes, the tv show)
Star Wars,
steampunk,
Asian theme- esp geisha, konji, and fans,
Japanese anime-esp Sailor Moon and Sargent Frog and Soul Eater,
video games- esp Mario stuff, Gears of War, and any of the Lego games
Lilo and Stitch- esp Scrump!  And Stitch!
Dragons
Faeries
Harry Potter,

I could go on, but my ADD kicked in Smiley

Just to add my two cents in here---USPS boxes (which so far I've found are "sold" only in the USA), if sending international, have a 20lbs weight limit, which doesn't apply to THIS swap. But if your package is 2lbs or UNDER, then sending priority will add $2-3 more than if you use your own box. I JUST had that problem sending out my poppets this last week, lol. I didn't know.  Cheesy
I honestly can't wait for this swap to start! Such a cool idea!

But...if you ship in the US, each priority mail box is a weight allowance of up to ~70 pounds~.  They are not cost effective if you are shipping a pillow.  They ~are~ cost effective if you are shipping a marble cutting board.  Also, if you get them for because they are the correct size, and do the wrap in brown shipping paper, you pay by weight.

Yes the shoe box Idea sounds great. Then would we decorate the box with our theme too?  Huh Plus all the Items we make or find & I guess the points. I'm still not sure what the points are for & do we accumulate them for something? I'm still kind of new to all of this & I've never asked before either.
If it's after Christmas & New Year's then I'm in.
Thanks, Sharalee

I don't really get the point thing, either. Of course, I'm such a noob that I still have to go to the FAQ every time some writes small, med, large.   Tongue

I've also been sewing for our local hospice unit. I make "memory bears". When a hospice volunteer visits a family, she asks for an article of clothing that the person has worn. After the person passes away, we sew these bears and give them to the family. The pattern that we work with can be difficult sometimes, but I just muddle through.

What a beautiful thing!  This made me cry.
