http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=406448.0

This is a supplies swap, not a crafted items swap.

1 - This swap is NOT chain style.  You may choose from anyone's list once they are posted. This means you may receive a different number of packages than the number you send. I encourage everyone to try and keep claims somewhat balanced. I try to claim people who have sent more than they received.

2 Each claim in this swap should consist of at least $20 worth of supplies. Supplies may be from your stash, bought new, or bought second hand. Supplies should be in good, usable condition.

3 - You may have up to 2 claims outstanding at a time unless you are FOC, then you may have up to 3 outstanding claims at a time. Outstanding means unsent - once you have submitted your DC# or a picture of your international receipt you may claim again.

4 - Once you have been approved, you may post in the list thread.  Your post should look like this:
         - your location and a brief bio (include allergies in red please)
         - your likes and dislikes (such as colors, patterns, etc)
         - your list of supplies you would like to receive this is all your basic needs as well as coveted supplies.

5 - Remember, the more items and bigger variety of items you have on your list the more likely it is for you to be chosen.

6 - If you are flaked on, you will only receive an angel for as many packages as you have sent.  If you were claimed for 3 packages and you sent 2 packages and one package was flaked on - you will not receive a swap angel.

7 - When you wish to choose someone, please send a PM to the Organizer and the Receiver.  At that point, please request the address from the receiver. Include what you will be sending and the due date.

8 - Everyone must make at least ONE claim.

9 - Required: good communication! This means keeping the organizer informed and replying in a reasonable amount of time.
All PMs should be copied to the organizer
PM to choose someone and get their address
PM the DC# or receipt when a package is sent
PM when you receive as well as posting a 'Thank You' in the gallery (even if you can't take photos).
Please put "Swap Your Stash" in the subject line of all PMs.  At the minimum, please tell if it is a send or receive, the senders username, receivers username and the item.  Otherwise I may go a tad crazy trying to figure it out.

10 - It is your responsibility to make notes in your bio or list about color/size/material preferences, allergies, and when an item has been received (delete it if you do not desire duplicates). Be specific enough so that you are sent items you want, but beware being too picky or people might not choose you. Communication is key for happy swappers.

11 When all claims have been made (March 31) all participants names will be put in a hat as many times as they made claims and one name will be randomly selected. This participant will receive a small extra package that may include supplies and/or small crafted items.

If you want to participate, information to send to organizer:

Well, this certainly isn't every Star Wars goodie in the house, but when he started playing the online game, hubby started this shrine/shelf right above his computer.

I also have tons of SW stuff spread across my Pinterest. There's SW crafty stuff on my swap potential boards, but there's tons of plain SW fun on my Geek Joy board.  Cheesy

I agree; while I'd not a Dr. Who devotee, that wallet is super cool.

Zzdia received from me too and said I should post a photo. Here are the crochet mary jane style slippers I sent her:

I also understand Mlsocci74 received but hasn't posted. Here's the dream catcher I sent her:

And the bath gel shower jellies:

These smelled really good from the rainforest bath gel. Smiley

Nice socks! I love thick warm socks but rarely have the patience to make them. Or rather, I rarely have the patience to make 2; pairs of things are always tough for me.

I received from smashu today and I'm thrilled! She sent two painted shirts for my son and I love them both.

The first is a blue shirt with a brown squirrel with nut on it. It's super cute and original art! Max approved he said "awww, a widdle squirrel with a haycorn!" (We read a lot of Winnie the Pooh.)

The other one was an even bigger hit. It's a green shirt with a picture of a kale leaf and the words "KALED I've been hit with a leafy green vegetable" and is a Pinterest wish made real!

When I read it to Max he couldn't stop cracking up. He totally loves it and so do I! See, when he first entered that age of play where he ran around with swords killing people or being killed, he would always say it so it sounded like kaled. "I kaled you! Fall down!" "Oh no, I'm kaled!" etc. For a while I corrected him, but he just kept saying it that way, so one day when he said it I said "Oh no! Max has been hit by a leafy green vegetable!" He thought that was even better and it's been a family running joke since. Now he has a shirt to proclaim he's been kaled with pride!

Love it! Thank you smashu!

27  Re: Yarnies Scavenger Hunt R6 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Saintcady on: March 06, 2012 09:32:35 AM
I received a lovely package from RubyTuesday this morning! So many fun goodies!

1) Something local - Kinder Surprise eggs. I'm going to try very hard to be good and save these for my son's Easter basket. We all loved Happy Feet 2, so it'll be perfect!

2) Something round - a needle bug! He's so cute; I just love him. Tapestry needles are my most-used item and maybe now I'll be able to go a whole month without losing one!

3) Something green - sage green and tan scarf. It's so soft and cuddly. Smiley

4) Something related to the letter 'T' - Terrifying Dragon (+ friends) finger puppets. These are super adorable and will definitely be put to use; probably today!

5) Something funny - funny felt fish! (Bonus points for the alliteration.) Adorable funny fish with washers attached for my son's magnetic fishing game. Thank you; he'll be thrilled!

6) Something hard - glass-encased leaf pendant. So beautiful and very much my style - I love it!

7) Sender's choice - handspun yarn and a great pattern. The colors are beautiful, the yarn is super soft, and the pattern is one I wanted!

Everything is wonderful, Ruby. Thank you!

29  Re: Terribly Important SOB Swap II in The Swap Gallery by Saintcady on: March 01, 2012 05:07:41 PM
I got a thoroughly amazing package from luckdragon today. Seriously; I'm totally spoiled and loving every minute of it.

Warning: Picture heavy!

First off, an amazing copper scepter to show all my Terrible Importance!

It is seriously gorgeous, and will double as a bubble wand! Check out the detail:

Next up, a beautiful hoop of my kingdom. I've totally fallen in love with Oregon, so this is perfect.

Then, to facilitate my issuing of proclamations of Terrible Importance is a write-on board for the fridge that says "Saint Cady says..." across the top and "Daily words of wisdom from the Patron Saint of Smartypants" on the bottom. It even has magnets so I can put it on the fridge and an attached pen!

Then there are these cool wooden cases for holding proclamations, which came stuffed with jewels!

Necklace 1 is a leaf and bird drop necklace with purple beads for my husband and son's birthstones.

Necklace 2 is a book pages necklace that I love, but didn't photograph very well.

Necklace 3 is a stamped metal constellation necklace. I'm thrilled she chose to make this one. The constellation on it is the Pleiades, which was really special to me and my dad, so this makes me all happy and teary.

I love it all so much, thank you luckdragon!
