1  Re: Classic Tattoo Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by amytron on: May 30, 2007 09:25:26 AM
I received yesterday and couldn't be happier.

I apologize for the crappy pictures, even with an awesome brand new supermegapixel camera i can't manage to take a good shot:

eyemask ( i used it last night, worked great ).  I love it so now I can keep my blind open at night so the air can flow and not worry about waking up at 7 due to the sun.

great pouch in a beautiful coral color (even though it looks pink in the picture)

t-shirt, i wear a lot of brown so this is great

and my favorite, the hoodie.  it's the most perfect color ever (i'm a redhead, i love to wear green) and its simple which i love.  the only detail is the beautiful roses on the arms.

she also included the original artwork used to create the iron-ons, they're amazing.  I will not be chucking them at all, I think i'll go buy one of those frames where you sandwich things between 2 pieces of glass and put them in there.

I feel like the stuff I sent is crap compared to this and i definitely owe you as soon as I am able to fully use my left arm again.  thank you so much Karen, I love everything!!!!!!!

oh yes, i'm very happy with the placement, it's perfect.  plus, my tattoo has no outline so if i had gotten it on the arch it would have become crappy really fast.
i posted it before (a million pages back) but here it is again so you can see what i'm talking about (please shield your eyes from the paleness):

3  lucite and pearl knotting (lots of pics) in Beads: Completed Projects by amytron on: February 07, 2006 01:36:00 PM
my new favorite thing is lucite beads, so i recently bought a box full and went crazy.  they're simple but i didn't really want to put them with other beads that would detract from their cool factor so i decided just to pearl knot them, (my other current obsession now that i've had enough practice to make decent things).  so here are some pics:

the above is not actually the same as below even though they look like it.  top is "moonglow", bottom isn't.

opps, resized one too many times

all the necklaces have 2 matching bracelets but i figured that i have enough pics in here already.

thanks for looking!

4  metal disk earrings (my first project post!) in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by amytron on: February 01, 2006 08:12:41 AM
For christmas a friend gave me a little metal punch tool and a bunch of metal disks in different colors.  I love this stuff now!  I made a bunch of earrings and every time i wear them someone asks me to make them a pair.  I've totally run out of the aqua color, they're really popular.

the metal punch thing is awesome too.  i went to hawaii for xmas and made a bunch of those flattened pennys.  i  punched holes in them and plan on making them into earrings once i get some gold chain.
anyway, thanks for looking!
