1  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Completed Projects / Re: just an apology on: March 14, 2006 09:16:52 PM
I was looking at that pattern online the other day after deciding that this summer I will wear nothing but dresses that I've made myself (and maybe shrugs..since I am vehemently opposed to my arms). Anyway, I love love love that dress. Was is difficult?
I'm excited for the pictures as well!

Hurrah! Watch your mail boxes ladies! I'll wait until I hear from Hubbyoed to send her anything though, in case she'd rather have a tape.

Here they are!

Thank you again to all the senders. I hope that sending these gave you some relief/peace about your secrets. These cards stir up a plethora of emotions. And the artwork is lovely on all of them. I will keep these forever. Warm wishes to all of you.xoxo

As promised, here is the AMAZING package I got from Minouette.
She sent some marbles (too cute):

And some handmade cards:

Adorable!
And now, le piece de resistance! I give you:
LE FABULEUX DESTIN D'UN GNOME DE JARDIN!

First you take your adorable polymer clay gnome:

And you put him in his garden:

(Which happens to be located right down the street from me...you can see the Parliament Buildings in the back).
But then, with the turn of 2 knobs, the gnome travels all over the world to beautiful historic sites!
!!
There are about 6 or 7 different backgrounds but I didn't want to take up too much space by posting pictures of them all. Also, I took the gnome out for the photos to give a better view of the backgrounds.
This thing is truly amazing. Minouette clearly put a lot of brain power and elbow grease into it. It is stunning and I adore it!
Thanks again, Minouette..you are a Queen!

Ok guys, feedback is finally up! Thanks for being patient!
It seems that we've ended up with one flaker: NoSleep. Unless any of her partners have recieved from her and haven't posted it yet?
Assuming that that is not the case, would her partners (Hubbyoed, Semicharm86, Onecraftybitch) like me to find them angels? Alternatively, I could send you guys consolation gifts! That could be fun/exciting/random, and possibly quicker.
Sorry, I know this is all really PM material but, ehhh. Let me know what you want me to do!

10  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Sturdy Reversible Ribbon Belts w/ Tutorial! on: March 06, 2006 06:46:17 PM
I got the ribbon AND the rings at Walmart (shame shame!). The ribbon was sold by the metre and the rings were around the section with the iron on letters, dressmakers chalk, and other misc. sewing stuff!
