1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Help Editing a Real-Life Picture to be Embroidered! on: October 19, 2011 11:13:41 AM
Hey everyone! I need some making an embroidery design! This is kind of a cry for technical support with photo editing, so I hope it's in the right place!

I'm planning to make a few wall hangings for a pal for Xmas.

The plan was to get a few images of her favorite celeb's and render a likeness on some plain fabric. Has anyone else done a project like this?

I am having trouble editing the images to make a good, simple outline to transfer (currently using Picasa)

Can anyone offer me some photo editing tips?

Thanks so much!

PS. I did peek in the Image Reproduction Technique Forum, but didn't find much, hoping to get help to an embroidery problem from fellow embroider-ers!!! Smiley
