1  Cowl neck tank top in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by PinkLincoln on: September 19, 2011 08:19:05 AM
Here is a cowl neck tank top I made out of this awesome dark teal knit.
It was supposed to have sleeves but I was running out of fabric to make them the length I wanted and in the end I liked it better without them.

I didn't use a pattern, just kinda made up as I went.

The front is pretty conservative looking, but the back of this I love.

Thanks for looking!

2  I've been busy! in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by PinkLincoln on: September 16, 2011 03:36:13 PM
So heres a few things I've made in the last few days. I've already made a few trips to the fabric store since I've been cleaning out my stash.

First is a pair of blue lace tights I made, I used a pattern for these since its easier than drafting my own. This pair does not have an outside side seam, just the inseam.

Next is a top I made, I am kinda iffy about whether or not I like it. the print is okay, but I feel like this one looks really hand made.

I'm also not sure if I like the off step straps or if they look weird.

yaay the back!

This is a dress I made that I absolutely love! its made out of black spandex with stretch mesh on the top. I feel like I can never have enough mesh in my life lol.

This is a jersey knit sweater I made based off of a sweater I purchased last year. I love the look of it, but I felt like it was too warm for the weather still so I went down to fabulous fabricland and found this brown zebra (tiger?) print for only 4 bucks a meter!

I'm really proud about how it turned out, I am just not sure if i should press the hem of it or redo the hem all together since its looking alittle twisted and bubbled.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy!

3  One sleeved shirt in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by PinkLincoln on: September 13, 2011 03:58:52 PM
My new serger came in today so I have been doing alot of sewing but this is what I am most proud of so far lol
it is made out of a stretch polyester fabric with farm scenes and silver patterns on it.
I didn't use a pattern to make it, just layed an old t shirt down to get the general body shape and used a rectangle for the sleeve.

the front, don't mind the messy bed I was scrounging for fabrics I could test on lol

here is the back.

and then the front again.

my aunt gave me this fabric awhile ago and I remember thinking what the heck am i going to do with this? I wasn't really feeling the pattern so i was using it to test out my serger and it really worked out well for this shirt.

5  Edward Elric Cosplay in Costumes: Completed Projects by PinkLincoln on: September 07, 2011 04:26:55 PM
This is the costume I made for my boyfriend this past anime north.
I made the black jacket and the red cloak, given the time frame I couldn't be bothered making the pants lol.
The roy mustang costume was made by my friends mom. She did an awesome job!

The last one is the only shot I have of the Kamina cape I made a few years ago for a friend.
