1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Re: Birthday Gift Idea? HELP please! on: August 20, 2014 02:45:13 PM
I like the idea of cross stitching quotes from each show to make a mismatched set. Cross stitch is my first love and favorite medium. <3 Ive just started dabbling in embroidery and like it very much also.

I really like the idea of the choker but I couldn't make one. Sad The tutu is an awesome idea. Of the characters of the show she is the most like Carrie so she would really like that. I wonder if I could find a tutorial online.
2  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Birthday Gift Idea? HELP please! on: August 19, 2014 08:34:57 PM
Okay. So. My best friend is turning thirty in October. We have been best friends since we were teens and I really want to make her birthday special.  I usually do a theme for her birthday and make/ buy gifts to match the theme. This year Ive decided to do thirty (mostly small) gifts. I would like to make approximately half of them since she always likes the things I make better than purchased gifts.

Anyway, I would really like to include at least one gift related to each of our favorite TV shows: Sex and the City, Girls, Breaking Bad, and True Blood. The ideas could be related (I thought about doing a framed quote from each to make a display) or they could be unrelated.

Really needing some help with this one. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
3  Halloween / Halloween Decor and Parties / Bob the Tomato and Larry the Cucumber PUMPKINS on: November 09, 2012 06:19:07 PM
My son's school had a pumpkin decorating contest and I just had to share our entry. Do you recognize this duo? It's Bob and Larry from the Veggie Tales cartoons. I wish the picture quality was better because these little guys turned out absolutely adorable (if I do say so myself). Smiley

5  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Re: Gift ideas for my husband on: May 24, 2012 07:39:29 PM
Thank you for the idea of the 52 reasons book b2j2fitz. I had never seen one of these before. I think I will try one of these for our anniversary. They look pretty easy, although also very time consuming. <3
6  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Re: "survival packs" for little campers on: May 24, 2012 07:28:18 PM
More great ideas! Thanks Kstaron. I think whistles and possibly fishing gear will make great additions to the packs. So of the older boys will probably get pocket knives in their's as well.

I love these. They look wonderful and comfortable for you and baby. I wish I had had some of these when my son was little. Late spring and summer babies get so hot under regular blankets. Sad Nice idea and beautiful baby!
