21  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: scarves for me on: May 19, 2012 07:52:44 AM
I LOVE that green scarf!  I needed you when I still lived in Michigan! There isn't much need for scarves down here, but the colors and the designs on there were fantastic! Smiley
22  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / Re: Sparky's Hot Head on: May 19, 2012 07:49:13 AM
This turned our really good!  I love the colors and it looks like it fits a normal sized head very well!  I agree that your glass head looks a little bad with a towel shoved up in here, but at least you have one! Smiley She's amazing! I wonder what else you could put in there?  Maybe some time of paper confetti?  Actually, I'm not sure you needed to put anything in there, really. Great work, I bet he loved it! Smiley
23  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Re: postcard collage love in many forms on: May 19, 2012 07:45:15 AM
I really wish I would have gotten started on my collage project.  It is all sitting in boxes and drawers and I've actually thought about just giving up on it.  I feel like it is a very time consuming project and I just don't have a lot of time anymore.  I really love your work though! Smiley
24  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Re: Craft Room Makeover! on: May 19, 2012 07:38:05 AM
If I had a craft room like this, I would never leave it! Smiley  I love the closet ideas, so you can just leave a project if you need to walk away.  We have a puppy and a 2 year old in my house, so I feel the need to either finish a project when I start it or don't start it.  If I don't start it, I usually never get to it.  I will have a craft room of my own someday and it will be fantastic as your work space! Smiley Happy Anniversary!! Smiley

I love how much inspiration this post gives! Smiley That fabric bookshelf is the best thing that I've seen in a while! Smiley  Great job!! Smiley  I recently bought one of those heavy duty metal shelves to use as a pantry, but after seeing your post, I kind of want to take it out and use it for crafty fun times! Smiley
26  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Re: Pegboard of awesomeness on: May 19, 2012 07:24:38 AM
This organized craft area is so inspirational!  The pegboard is probably my favorite with the large work space coming in as a close second.  As of right now, I have a lot of beading tools in bins, but hopefully will be able to get that a little more organized now that I have a small stand to use as a beading desk.  It was slightly irritating having to move my computer all of the time when I wanted to make pretties!  Hooray for your space! Smiley

I must have a cake like this for my birthday!! Smiley
28  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Discussion and Questions / Re: Crimping on: April 26, 2012 09:31:48 PM
That actually helps a lot!  I am having my crafting buddy over this weekend and I think I am going to try that. Thanks! Smiley    (I think a lot of my problem is trying to get it tight enough that once I crimp it, the beads are tight up against it.)  I am definitely going to try this though!: )

Interesting. I didn't think of me being too close. I was just trying to show the detail. Smiley  This is a bad pic....

30  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Discussion and Questions / Re: Crimping on: April 25, 2012 08:36:55 AM
I guess that I wrote that a little confusing. Smiley  I'm not using crimp beads on the elastic, but tried tying knots and they always come undone.

As for the crimp beads, I use them on the flexible wire that I use and I want to make the ends look a little cleaner.
