WHAT KIND OF GLUE DID YOU USE??

Do you need any special kind? WIll rubber cement work? DO you have to back them on cardstock so the printing on the back doesn't show through? details details!

thanks!

I used glue for metal and glass crafts. I think it is called UHU. But I've read that e6000 works great too. I don't think rubber cement is strong enough. I didn't put any cardstock on the back of the pics. It was fine though, nothing showed thru.

oooh! I'd love to see the map marble pins!

I made a set of marble push pins using pics from Source magazine. I'm giving them to a friend who loves hip-hop.

here they are:

Here's my creation!

The fabric has pictures of dinner forks and knives, the most 'retro' fabric I could find at Joanns at the time.

The pattern is from this set:

I made the apron worn by the lady in the pink dress.

I started another one using a toile fabric. Coming soon hopefully...

Congrats! looking forward to seeing a pic.

I'll have a picture tomorrow of my apron too. my digital camera was missing for a bit, and now i'm just waiting for the batteries to recharge.

Crafty Ferret -
I made Apron F from that simplicity pattern! Is that the one you are sewing? I'm starting to sew another one this weekend.

I've decided to not sew the pockets on this one. They seem kind of useless to me. Plus, the bias tape they recommend is too thin for my beginner level skills. I suggest a thicker bias tape if you are doing pattern F.

How do you post pictures? If I figure out how, I'll post my apron.
