21  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Hemp Necklaces: I Want Your Opinion! on: September 03, 2011 08:40:54 PM
I've been making hemp necklaces for myself for many years. Just recently I've decided to sell my stuff online (haven't actually post anything in my shop just yet). And I came across some hemp necklaces that actually had clasps to close them, instead of just the hoop/knots.

What I'm looking for is some opinions on those clasps? I really love the convenience of the clasps - it gives a nice finished look and you also don't have to worry about the jewelry falling off. But I also feel like that kinda takes away from the "natural" and traditional feeling of hemp jewelry. If you were to wear a piece of jewelry made out of hemp, which kind of closure would you prefer?

Here is one kind of example:  http://ny-image2.etsy.com/il_570xN.189875786.jpg  --- Not my piece, just one I randomly found on Etsy.
