11  "Rikky- The Gem-Collector" Mouse Amigurumi in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by luckygirl360 on: August 21, 2012 05:13:06 AM
Hi guys.Today I am going to introduce a cute mouse,Rikky who loves collecting Gemstones...For what purpose,I honestly don't know. You have to ask him that Wink

He is 4 inches tall when sitting and 6.5 inches tall standing, excluding ears in both.He is made of Acrylic 4-ply yarn, Shade 25(steel-grey),with the help of a 2.25mm crochet hook. Afterwards I have brushed him with a pet hair-slicker to get a fuzzy effect. For the eyes I have used small onyx-beads and baby-pink embroidery floss for nose.  I hope he will be able to win your hearts too....

12  "BRUNO"...An Amigurumi Dog :) in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by luckygirl360 on: July 28, 2012 06:13:22 AM
Hiya people.I was very busy from past month and could not get any time for making amigurumis Sad  But the pull of making amis was so strong that i could not resist and in spite of my tight schedule i managed to crochet this cute brown ami-dog.I was wondering what to name him.My brother solved this problem by naming him "Bruno".Why he choose this name i have no idea Wink Since i like the name,we kept it.Bruno is 7 inches tall and 5.2 inches long (excluding tail).I have used Vardhman Millenium yarn which is a little less thicker than 4-ply and has a self-sheen to it.I totally love how fuzzy this yarn became after some brushing =) Totally perfect for amigurumis.

So,let's see how Bruno looks - please do comment.I love to hear from you. Smiley

13  "Winnie The Pooh" Amigurumi in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by luckygirl360 on: June 29, 2012 09:14:01 AM
Hi everyone. In my childhood days i loved to watch the "winnie the pooh & friends"series.Out of all those lovely characters my favourites were Pooh n Tigger.somehow i never liked piglet n the donkey(can't remember his name}.I searched all over internet for a pooh pattern and could not find one to my liking, either some were too expensive or not as cute. So,after many trial and errors, i crocheted a pooh for me out of my own pattern.Unfortunate ly i didn't kept the pattern in any written form,i just continued  crocheting till I get the desired shapes.I love the way he turn out, bigger yet cute as Pooh should be Smiley He is 14 inches tall standing and 10 inches tall sitting. This is my biggest amigurumi toy till now.

14  My new teddy bear - "COL" (Cuteness Over Load) in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by luckygirl360 on: June 25, 2012 02:06:56 AM
Hi everyone, meet my new cutie,"COL" the  teddy.I finished crocheting him last night and was so happy how cute he turns out Smiley So i decided to name him col short for-Cuteness Over Load.I made him using 4ply acrylic yarn and then thoroughly brushed him to get a fuzzy look.

I have joined him in such away that his head, hands and legs all are movable, hence i can pose him to my liking Smiley I found this movable-joining idea form http://byhookbyhand.blogspot.in/2012/06/magdalenas-secret.htmlYou don't have to use safety eyes or buttons for this technique just plain strong thread of any kind.Isn't it wonderful.I totally love that blog and the blogger(she is one of my amigurumi gurus).

The original pattern was a care-bear pattern from a book i bought last year. That pattern was for a much bigger sized bear,so i have to heavily modify it to get a desired "COL" pattern in a smaller size."COL" is 6 inches tall while sitting and 9 inches tall standing.Guess he is not so small after all Wink

15  "Snowy" from The Adventures of TinTin- Amigurumi in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by luckygirl360 on: June 13, 2012 03:43:50 AM
Hi everyone Smiley Today I finished another dog amigurumi...This time its a "White Terrier" Dog.I wanted to make a bigger amigurumi dog than all my past creations,so i designed a bigger pattern. The new dog is 7 inches tall and 7.7 inches long, excluding tail.I used fun feather/eyelash yarn in white colour and 3mm crochet hook for this project.Since its my first time working with the feather yarn,I had some difficulty while crocheting, specially seeing the stitches Sad But after doing some stitches I became used to the new yarn and crocheting became easier.I am quite happy with the fuzzy look it gives to the amigurumi.I am thinking to make some more Amigurumi with fun-feather yarns...Ya,i think it has become my new addiction ....

I have added a mini bell to its red-collar.I love how cute it looks on the dog Tongue

Here are the things I used for the amigurumi-

This is my dog "Silky",she think this new toy is for her ... Wink

For more details about my crochet n amigurumi projects please visit my blog- http://deltazelta.blogspot.in/2012/06/white-terrier-amigurumi.html

P.S:- I do think it looks a lot like snowy from the movie- The Adventures of TinTin.Though at the time of making this amigurumi i have no idea about that movie, but after reading comments here i did watch the movie and could not agree more that indeed it looks like Snowy. Thanks guys for reminding me this. Hi everyone.Yesterday I finished another amigurumi, a Labrador-Retriever Puppy.I so love this breed although never had any opportunity to keep one myself. Anyway, since i can't keep a real dog(as i already have 2 dogs of different breeds),I crocheted a Lab-puppy for myself.... Grin

P:S-I am thinking to crochet 2 more Labrador Puppies- a chocolate lab and the other Black lab,to complete the set of Labrador breed ...what do you say?  Huh Roll Eyes

20  Royal Crown Doily (+ link to free pattern) in Crochet: Completed Projects by luckygirl360 on: May 04, 2012 04:16:43 AM
Hi everyone.Today I am going to share my latest doily.I always wanted to make a pink doily but never got the desired pink shade thread,so when i bought this lovely pink thread i immediately searched a good pattern of doily to make. Finally my search for a good pattern ended in "Decorative Crochet Magazine-98" and the pattern is called "Royal Crown" .I Just loved the pattern,it was so easy yet elegant looking.I used size 10 crochet cotton and 0.95mm crochet hook(perhaps No. 7 Huh) for it.The finished doily is 12 inches in diameter after blocking.  Smiley

I have added the free pattern on my blog http://deltazelta.blogspot.in/2012/05/my-new-doily-royal-crown-from.html.If anyone make this doily, do post a link in my blog.i would love to see yours Smiley
