that is disgusting and awesome. at first i was horrified because i loathe rats as my house is currently infested with them, but then i realized that you made them, and well, that's just awesome.

those turned out so well! i would make some for my parent's cats, but they only sleep whereever is presently most inconvient! as for the little chocolate bundle of sweet puppy-ness...awwwwwwwwwww. i have one, he's 4 and giant. awww. puppies puppies puppies puppies puppies .

for the yoga bag: i made 2 button holes side by side for the drawstring and then knitted a few more inches, bound off and folded the top down just below the button holes and sewed it shut(like you would if you were making a drawstring for pj pants and that sort of thing). then i threaded the drawstring through, which was a few feet chained on a crochet hook. i have no idea what the gauge was, i just know that i cast on 50 stitches of red heart onto size 7(us) needles. this just began as an experiment while watching tv, i was actually really surprised with how nicely it turned out. i did the strap in linen stitch so it wouldnt stretch out too much, about 8-10 stitches wide i think, knitted about 2.5 feet and sewed it to the bag. i hope that helps.
