1  yay for finishing projects! in Knitting: Completed Projects by mochisaru on: February 01, 2005 12:57:43 PM
i've been pretty busy with school lately, so of course that means that all i want to do is knit. so i have, and i now have something to show for it!
first up, i made the pasha penguin from knitty:

second, a yoga bag i made for my sister, i just cast on 50 stitches on size 7s and knit about 30 inches, sewed it into a tube, made a drawstring, strap and pocket and threaded a string through the bottom, pulled tight, and made a knot, it was really, really easy:

and third, a baby sweater i made for my cousin who is expecting, i used waterspun in aqua and celery, i want to keep it, but it seems a bit small for me

2  knit wit + SNB= halloween cuteness! in Knitting: Completed Projects by mochisaru on: November 12, 2004 03:22:00 PM
for halloween, i was a bee and my boy was a penguin, for his hat, i used the SNB adults only devil hat pattern, minus the horns and earflaps and made felt eyes attached with velcro and crocheted a temporary beak on the front. for my bee hat, i used the KNIT WIT pixie hat pattern, though i improvised much of it because i messed up and didnt feel like ripping the whole thing out. i also made the addition of sparkly pipe cleaner antennae, which have decided not to be temporary. happy (way belated) halloween:
