I had this great idea for a dress with some sheets we can't use anymore but a practically brand new and some left over fabric. So I came up with a design in my head. Then I thought of a different way to make the dress as well and now I'm stuck. Basically it all depends on the top.



I doubt I'll have the dress that low cut on either side but it's just an idea. I wanted to make it something I could wear for this season, warm and cute.



Here's the fabric I'm going to use. The lighting sort of dulled the colors but the maroon fabric will be the top while the ivory plaid sheets will be the sleeves and bottom half of the dress.

Tell me which design you think is the better choice to make please?

I went to Disneyland about 2 months ago with a friend. I found some Aladdin sheets 2 weeks before that I wanted to turn into a dress. So I thought "why not pump that sucker out now so I can wear it on the trip?". I think it came out rather well and I got quite a few compliments and people whispering about it. I feel quite pleased that day.

First time posting on Craftster.

Just this past weekend I was at a convention as Medusa Gorgon from the Anime Soul Eater. Now I of course didn't make the pants or shoes but everything else is my handy work. I'm also really proud of it because I pulled everything together in like 2 weeks(and I only handsew.) But I styled the wig, made the bracelets, styled the fake nails, and painted on my tattoo as well.
