Here is the original picture that was taken on a vacation to the Dominican Republic:

And my painting:

The flash makes is so some of the wrinkles in the hand don't show up. Overall, I am proud! I love painting, and I have already started on another canvas. Woooooo!

4  Re: Show off your hair! in Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions by iLoVeCaReBeArS on: May 12, 2005 06:26:23 PM
I got my hair cut for the first time in about a year yesterday. I just got it trimmed, but I think it looks a lot nicer now. I am not crafty at all with my hair. No dye, no highlights, no blow dryer, nothing. It's just natural.

I make jewlery...what about something like these?

It is just made of glass beads strung on a self-curling sterling silver wire

Or this? Just plastic beads on a wire and a bunch of jump rings connected together, and a clasp on one end.

I hope I helped.  Grin

6  This botch actually turned out ok! in Stitch And BOTCH by iLoVeCaReBeArS on: January 05, 2005 11:40:58 AM
I got new plain white sheets for Christmas, and decided to tie dye them. I bought black, pink, and green dye. I let the tie dyed sheet sit for a day, rinse them with cold water until the water ran clear, and untied them. They looked so awesome! I threw them in the washer, because I really wanted to make my bed right way, haha.I forgot to set the washer for cold water...and yeah...this is what I turned out with:

I still like them, but they looked cooler before. Dumb me.  Angry
