Ok, finally posting the rest of my Christmas stuff!

I did a gift exchange with my anime club, and of course, I got the one person I had never spoken too. I was told she likes cupcakes and Dragonball, so I made her a Dragonball plushie out of the softest fabric ever.

It came out a little lumpy, but she loved it anyway. I also made sushi cupcakes:

I used plain white jimmies to look like rice, and they were nearly impossible to find. Seriously, it was ridiculous. Finally, my brother had the idea to go the the bakery counter at the grocery store and ask if they had any I could buy.

With the leftover awesome fabric from the Dragonball, I made a scarf for my friend, another DBZ fan.

Modeled by my roommate.

Finally, here are the scarf and mittens I made for my mom.

Turned up so you can see the nice warm fleece lining ^_^ My mom loves them. She says everyone at work is jealous and wants a set. I failed to get pictures of a lot of the gifts, but my brother loves his snuggie-thing, the NE-in-a-box gift went over very well with the brother's girlfriend, and the notebook I made my dad for his song lyrics made him cry. In a good way. He says that someday when he's a famous songwriter, that book will be worth millions. So yeah, pretty successful Christmas all around. Sorry for the really long post.

Ok, finally getting around to posting things! First off, here's the stuff I made for my roommate's birthday. He's really into Magic the Gathering, so I made him a rubiks cube with the mana symbols

(There are only 5 different kinds of mana, so the 6th side is the Magic logo)

I was planning on making him pixel cookies with a Tetris design, but the dough I used was not cooperating and I couldn't get it to work. I finally gave up and made Magic cookies instead.

My drawing-with-icing skills are not the best, but he really liked them anyway. Those are his 3 favorite mana colors. Just don't look to closely at the red ones! That symbol was a lot harder to draw than I expected Smiley

Got my friend's drink books done and gave them to her. She loves them. In fact, she said they're the best present she got this year Smiley Here are some more pictures. Sorry they're so dark. I tried using the flash, but the glare from the lamination made the pictures impossible to see.

Also, I didn't realize that our other friend's birthday was today, so I made her a quick gift too. She loves Harry Potter, so I made her a candle using a potion looking bottle I had as a mold.

It didn't turn out quite like I wanted, but she liked it a lot. Sorry the post is so pic heavy, but I'm proud of myself Smiley

My friend's 21st birthday is coming up soon, so I decided to make her two drink recipe books- one video game themed and one Disney themed. I haven't gotten them printed or put together yet, but I have them all Photoshopped and ready to go. Here are a few of my favorites.

What do you think? I had never worked with Photoshop before, so I hope they look okay.
