1  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Healthy Eats-Along 2013 on: January 25, 2013 09:23:11 AM
I don't know about you guys, but a huge issue with my healthy eating plan is my child.  So we purchased Crunch a Color.  It's a card game that helps us all get our veggies in daily.  You can change it up to fit your lifestyle and food needs.  Meal times are no longer a battle and my husband and I are eating healthier.  If you've got kids I recommend (you can get it at amazon).
2  FIBER ARTS / Dyeing: Completed Projects / Re: Dying alpaca with food dye. on: September 23, 2012 05:37:44 AM
You know you need more caffeine when you read the title and think "oh no!  Her aplaca is dying, that so sad."

Really cool vibrant colors out of food dye!

My son is watching this movie RIGHT NOW!  He will love this when I show it to him.  Great job!

I have this pan, and want to do the same, I'll have to get a move on my broken crayon collection.  Do you still use this for cupcakes and muffins (food)?

My girlfriend says the cheap crayons do not work (she tried and they don't melt).

You can also get this on Amazon if you can't find it at Target...

Love it!
Part of me wishes you'd left the eyes blank, I kinda liked how it looked before you painted them, but I also like the eyes finished.
7  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Banana-PineBerry Bread on: August 02, 2012 05:18:22 AM
I want a solar oven!
I usually put blueberries in my banana bread, but I'm gonna have to try this version now.
Nicely done!

10  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Penny Bracelet on: July 16, 2012 04:59:45 AM
So pretty!  Did you use certain years?  Either for special years (birthdays...), or to make sure you didn't get silver streaks in your pennies?  My son has gotten into those souviner pennies and we notice some of the newer pennies are copper coated and get silver streaks in them when they are pressed, so I wondered if you ran into the same problem making this bracelet.
