My grandmother used to do quite a lot of cross stitching. She died when she was 48 and left behind many unfinished projects. I was 7 at the time. I was given her projects and I want to finish them. My knowledge of cross stitching is very basic; are there any good websites/tutorials/books anyone could suggest? Thanks.
Hello, My name is Jada. I am addicted to knitting, crocheting, sewing, and cross stitching! They are my therapy. I've been a longtime lurker, and finally decided to join after being inspired by so many wonderful projects.
Ok, so I have 10 2oz or 95yd skeins of Sugar'n Cream self striping yarn with blue, green, purple and white. It's too hot in Louisiana to make hats or scarves, and I'm stuck on what to make. Any suggestions.
This is my first post, and I was wondering if anyone has arthritis and finds that it interferes with their knitting. Any tips/ideas to help? I've tried hand braces, but they get in the way more than they help. My arthritis causes me to drop stitches and makes my tension either too tight or too loose, as sometimes I cannot judge my grip.
