That is really awesome Smiley I got FO3 for my boyfriend for Christmas (the collector's edition, which comes with a lunchbox and Pip Boy bobble head from the Capital Wasteland, among other goodies...) and he would love something like this, even though he doesn't drink coffee...

7  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: OTT 20 Swap Gallery on: January 28, 2009 07:33:20 PM
Here's are the pictures of the darling cupcake and korknisse I received from yelutci (we agreed beforehand to having the korknisse be a sort of...extra, because it takes very little time to make...)

It combines my themes of rainbows and cupcakes  Smiley

a better shot of the bottom half of the cupcake, which has a nice ribbing detail to make it look like a real cupcake wrapper...

My adorable new korknisse, which combines my themes of rainbows and gnomes (so cute!)

and finally, the lovely postcard that came with my package, decorated with stickers.

Thank you so much for everything yelutci, I really love my new tiny things Smiley
8  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Discussion and Questions / Webcomic on: January 20, 2009 05:14:09 PM
http://ontheinside.smackjeeves.com/comics/

I'm not sure if this post belongs here or not, but by my logic, because it is a series of drawings, and this is the board where you post projects that are drawings, it does. My boyfriend Thomas recently started a webcomic called On the Inside. He draws, writes, and publishes it himself, and it is hosted by a website called smackjeeves.com (which has many other user created webcomics for your browsing and reading pleasure). It contains adult humor and language, but nothing to raunchy, just some swearing and a mention of the male reproductive organs (though no drawings of them). He's really proud of it, but is a bit discouraged because it's not getting as many views as he'd hoped it would. So, I decided to try and spread the word for him, to tell the world about his creation. Check it out, and, if you like it, comment, or create an account and add it to your favs, or just tell your friends  Smiley

I have received from yelutci  Cheesy I really love what I got, and will post pics in the gallery a bit later tonight. The OTT that I'm making is about 1/3 of the way through, but I'll need to make a supply run because I've got a good idea for it that won't be silenced. With any luck, I'll be sending out tomorrow.

If you want some snow, I would be more than willing to send some your way.  This winter in Minneapolis has been RIDICULOUS.  More snow today (I just shoveled), but at least we're in the positive numbers.  After being below zero for a week, 25 feels pretty awesome.

I'm visiting my parents this weekend and Dad keeps pointing out to Mom that "Hon, it's negative 32 (F) in Hibbing (where she once lived) today! Don't you want to go back right now for a visit??".    Hee.  Mom just ignores him. Smiley

God, I wish I lived in MN right now. I used to live in Burnsville (burb of St. Paul) and I miss it so much. It's been in the 70's and sunny pretty much every day here (in AZ), but I would trade it for snow and cold in a heartbeat if it meant getting to live in MN again with my friends  Undecided
