Edward_Victor asked me to post the card he received. I based my ATC's on a book of old Japanese prints of geishas. I thought originally that we would send 3 to one person, so my three connect. Here is the far left card on my triptych.
I received two fantabulous cards this weekend. On the left is "sushi" by sissychrissy1 and on the right is "Geisha" by pjmclnj. These two are so beautiful! I opened one and I thought "ohh. This might be my favorite so far." Then I opened the other and I couldn't decide!
In other news I had the hardest time falling asleep last night. I kept on thinking about the 6 other cards that haven't made it yet to their owners. It's been over a week! I'm getting freaked out because I worked so hard on them. You ladies can relate, right?
Hello! I saw this thread and didn't even have time to join in the craftalong. I whipped out this doll in 3 evenings.I decided to make this beaded butterfly doll for my mom for Mother's Day. Except instead of a butterfly I'm telling her it's an "angel" doll. My mom has this angel tree in her house (it's a ficus or something) that she has hung all these little angel charms in. So I made her a new angel for her tree.
Here it is in progress
Everyone's dolls are just beautiful. I hope mine looks as nice.
Hey! Mt husband got a free bookshelf from his day job at a law firm and decided we could use it in our comic book store. But, it was one of those really ugly "build it yourself" type bookcases. Like this:
So one day later, 2 bottles of modge podge and about 5 comics, ta dah!
