I found this
adorable rhinoceros beetle pattern from the crafting japanese site, but I don't quite understand how the increases past the illustrated diagram work, even after I ran them through babelfish. The diagram for the body only goes to round 6, but the instructions say:
"The chain" 8 eyes is made
1st step small knitting 18 eye
2nd from step 5th to step 1 - 6 - 4 increases
6th step that way
7th step 1 - 6 - 1 increases
8th 10th to step that way from step
I understand that the 6th and the last 3 rounds are even, but I don't know how to interpret the 1 - 6 - 1 increase on the 7th round.
This is the diagram for the body, if you can correlate the numbers 1 - 6 - 4 with the increases shown, and figure out what 1 - 6 - 1 means.
