1  Re: 4 inch hoopla in The Swap Gallery by sparks on: September 27, 2013 06:39:37 PM
Got my hoops today. That's right HOOPS!!!

I received two amazing hoops this afternoon. (well actually 3, we were partners in this and the Doctor Who swap too)

First up, I got underwater sea turtle hoop with some beading.
(the picture is a little dark and hard to see the double layer of netting)

And a bee inspired hoop
(hehehe, the black and white on the hoop tickled me when I opened it. You will see why when you see one of her hoops)

And from our other swap
a sonic screwdriver hoop

Thank you

My package came, my package came, my package came!!!!

I am very excited to share my goodies from down under. Get ready for some pictures  . . . .

My WHO LOOT

I got a pair of TARDIS socks. This was on my wishlist. I had an awesome pair that were placed in the dryer by my husband. (they were a wool blend -- I was very upset).

A traveling journal for my favorite companion

A sonic hoopla with gallifreyan writing

A Bowtie pendant

And a most awesome Teesha Moore inspired Bag with fantastic patches based off my pinterest images

This side has the TORdis ( I love turtles), Melody Pond's Judas Tree lipgloss, 10th Doctor as John Cusack (one of my top10 favorite songs), has the starry night TARDIS image (that is one of my favorite DW episodes) -- and inspiration for one of my partner's items.

And the other side

Hello My Name is SEXY !!!! And another Van Gogh image and the other favorite episode is "Let's kill Hitler" -- That's Hitler on the bottom right there (guess someone let him out to get to the gay gypsy bat mitzvah).

The inside lining has union jack images and a key holder.

Thank you whenindoubtsew

I received an exciting package from goatgoddess today!!!! I love my patches!!

Using my themes for psycholgy -- I received a Pavlov's Dog patch.
And using my ocean theme -- a cephalopod and an octopus for my kit patch.
I love that they are printed giving a photographic quality to them.

Thank you so very much.

Here are a few of my ornaments, some still need to be uploaded . . .

The two below are from IsikkahJai
The first is a sparkly frame for one of my daughters.

This one was made for my son.

And my son made out like a bandit for this swap (the bacon ornament was actually the one I was thinking of making him this year)

Thank you dfabbric

I received from bananaleg last week and she posted some pics but was unhappy with the lighting. So here are the fantastic pieces that I got from her in good lighting so you can see how great they are!!!

When I first opened the box, I found the dalek fingerless gloves. I forgot that I put them on my pinterest. I did manage to try one on while I was tearing through the rest of the box. (and they are going to be absolutely perfect with a gray wool bobble jacket that I have.

As I was about to try on the other glove, I found my SOCKS!!!!!!!!

I immediately stopped what I was doing, put them on my feet and went sliding around on the tile floor. ( my husband just shook his head at me trying to figure out why he married me and what is the obsession i have with Doctor Who ).

And I got a coffee sleeve (been needing one actually - just didn't want to make myself one).

And a TARDIS sewing caddy. Already filled up with little things I'm working on.

I am tickled TARDIS blue with this swap.

7  Doctor Who Teesha Moore Bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by sparks on: October 11, 2012 12:39:56 PM
Thought I'd share one of my latest projects for a swap that I recently did. One request my partner had was for a bag and had a Teesha Moore bag on her pinterest and I figured why not. I've been working on patches lately and love being able to create completed little patches and then creating something completely wonderful with all the little components. Still have issues making them look too neat and tidy for the whole Teesha Moore look -- can't help it -- just what I do.

The Front

And the Back

10  Re: 13 Days of Halloween Mini Swap Rd 4 in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by sparks on: August 24, 2012 06:33:30 PM
I received from my partner and let my kids open their items first. They are a hit.

She made a Monster High necklace for my oldest daughter. Painted skull and crossbones on a ski cap for my son. A batman mask for my middle daughter. And a little bat softie for my youngest. Then they saw the candy -- and breakfast was served.

This is my middle daughter showing off the mask and the candy
