I've actually made both of those patterns!  You did great work on them, and I love the colors you chose!

One of my coworkers has a baby on the way!  It's exciting - they know it'll be a girl, so I made a blanket and two dresses.  The blanket is a pattern of my own (I didn't write as I went, but it's pretty easy), while the dresses are both the same pattern (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/baby-girl-sleeper-set---dress) off ravelry.  It's awesome how different they turned out, just from using a boucle yarn instead of a smooth one.

At long last, pics!

I got my package from Tracey87!  Full of awesome stuff, it was!

A headband, all done in shells and pearls!  I've already worn it to work - it's a little heavy, but it stays on really well.  I feel like a friggin mermaid wearing it - it is fantastic!

A trio of embroidered cards!  They have envelopes with them, but I don't know that I like anyone enough to actually mail them!  So pretty, and she threw in a peacock because she noted on my pinterest that I love them.

An altered tin, with a mermaid, a fishy, and an oyster on it.  This is amazing - I've never done an altered tin, and they astonish me.  It's so detailed, with shells all around the sides.  And inside!

A passel of Little Mermaid stickers - which I need to start sticking on EVERY. THING. I. OWN.  And!

Bottle-cap magnets with little critters in the resin!  These are not in my fridge yet because I'm living with a fridge not my own.  As soon as I have my own house with my own fridge?  Octopus with a bow all over the place, my friends.

Great, great stuff.  I also forgot (because I am a dingus) to take a pic of the little toy octopus she tossed in.  It is super cute!

And the questionnaire is sent!  I had to spend part of the day looking up episode titles, cause I didn't think "the one with that guy, you know, that was killing people?" would be helpful for my partner.

This should be fantastic.

Awesome!  I'll send in my questionnaire tomorrow night.  My boyfriend thinks it's crazy how much I love this show . . . .
7  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Cross Stitch Jewelry (picture heavy) on: March 13, 2012 01:01:57 PM
Oh. mygawd.  Do you have an etsy?  Because I would buy the crap out of some of those.  My bf and his brother would love love love the SW key chain or the Pac-Man 'links.

Your talents amaze me - cross stitch was my first craft, but I've never done anything as tiny on such high count aida before.  I'm so impressed!  This rocks!

Awesome!  Everyone's stuff looks super!  I love all the octopi-themed things - they look like they were seriously popular picks, and everyone did so great with them!

Swap anxiety has set in - I hope my stuff is as cool as everyone else's!

I am incredibly surprised at how well my large is going.  But I don't feel like it's enough yet, you know?  We'll have to see what I can do when I get some paint pens . . .
10  HOME SWEET HOME / Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Completed Projects / Re: Gardening in the Dead of Winter on: February 06, 2012 07:23:26 AM
Awww, you guys are so sweet!!  I'm guessing the fact that we've just started lambing doesn't help, right?   Wink

Wait.

There are lambs now TOO?  Oh, god.  I may be undone . . . .
